  Caminhos Language Centre is an amazing school with a very good atmosphere. When entering the school the reception staff is very welcoming and you immediately feel at home. The school has 3 floors and there are a lot of students, the teachers are all native Brazilians and are all very good in teaching. After school there are always some free activities, this is very nice because you get to know your fellow students better and it is just a lot of fun :)! I would recommend everyone to choose for Caminhos if you want to learn Portuguese and learn about the Brazilian culture!

  The school: The school encourages learning the language very fast by pushing students to speak as much as possible & constantly evaluating whether people are in the right level class, etc. Overall it was a fantastic method & I was able to learn conversational Portuguese in around 3 months! Also there are many free & fun activities which are an excellent way to integrate in the community (beach volleyball, volunteering, city tours, movie nights, etc) The people: The people who work in the school are awesome, very friendly and helpful. The professors are excellent. The location: Centrally located in Ipanema & near to Lagoa, near the beach and in the most touristic part of Rio.
