      • Giza
Giza or (e'Giza as pronounced by Egyptians) the hometown of the famous pyramids is the most famous location of the Giza Plateau; the site of the most impressive ancient monuments in the world, including the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and a number of large temples and pyramids. Renting a camel, horse, or quad bikes are relatively easy in the area.

Being a tourist, this is one of the places where a tourist may grasp a bit of the Egyptian lifestyle, unlike Hurghada and Sharm and many tourist-based beach resorts where you might not get an authentic experience of the Egyptian culture and lifestyle.

The "Haram street" is a street that is full of hotels, convenient if you choose to stay in Giza, as you will be very close to the pyramids and if you are lucky enough, you might be able to see the pyramids from your own window.

Disadvantages are the heavy traffic, the sounds of car horns almost never stop, and the city is generally a bit dusty.

      • Cairo
Cairo or (Al-Qahira as pronounced by Egyptians), one of the oldest cities in the world, the Capital and the biggest city in Egypt, only the river Nile is separating Cairo from Giza as locals consider them as one big city. It is a city that would satisfy a wide range of tastes.

Plenty of parts of Cairo feel like a beautiful time warp. Down by the Nile, you can watch tiny wooden boats float by and imagine nothing’s changed in centuries. The markets are still home to products like spices, perfumes and precious metals hiding under rag-tag cloth roofs in front of yellow stone buildings, while the Christian churches, Muslim monuments and stunning Egyptian Antiquities Museum all draw you in to the ancient Kingdom.

The Great Pyramids towers over the desert, lit up in a golden glow at night and striking in its intensity. For all you’ve read about this particular site, you can hardly fail to be impressed.

Back in the city, grab a taste of a buzzing city, smoking sheesha on a rooftop bar whilst inhaling the cities distinctive scent, or delve into a lifestyle fit for a Pharoah in one of the cities notoriously plush hotels. Not to mention the astonishing selection of museums, which are every bit as sensational as you’d expect in a place that truly reeks of history.

Travel destinations don’t get much more classic than Cairo. This is one of the world’s biggest cities, a sprawling metropolis hiding more scenic hidden treasures than most cities can even dream of.

      • Dahshur
Perhaps one or two hours away from Cairo, Dashur can be reached by hiring a taxi. One can purchase a ticket to enter Dashur for one's self at a ticket booth with marked prices, (student tickets are an available option). Also one will probably have to pay a small fee for the taxi.

Dahshur is home to the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. The pyramids are subject to closing depending upon the archaeological work being done at that given time. Dahshur also presents wondrous views of several smaller pyramids that cannot be entered.

        • The Luxury and Pleasure of a Nile Cruise
Egypt is the country that gave birth to the great’s civilization in the world and have attracted thousands of tourists each year and the Nile River has found its home here. The Nile is the longest river in the world. The river shares its water with eleven African countries, but the river is the primary water source for Egypt and Sudan. The Nile has two affluents; the White Nile and the Blue Nile. When you are traveling through Africa and you happen to visit Lake Victoria, you can see the White Nile rises through the lake and many more in the region as the White Nile is the headwaters and primary stream of the Nile. As for the Blue Nile, its adventure begins at Lake Tana in Ethiopia. The Nile has played an important role in history where different Kingdoms depended on its source, but Egypt history is rooted on this river and many of Egyptian sites are to be found alongside of the riverbanks.

The wonders of Egypt while cruising and the incomparable experiences
The most sites of Ancient Civilization are to be found in the riverbanks and this allow travelers to cruise in the Nile while exploring the Egyptian heritage. When cruising on the Nile, the tour will give you an opportunity to discover Egypt as the Kings and Queens did thousand years ago.

The cruise will stop in many cities and sites. The city of Aswan is the perfect example as this southernmost city was the trade route between Africa and India where exotic goods were traded. Another city rooted in Egyptian history is Luxor and the discovering of King Tutankhamen’s tomb has made it the perfect spot to deeply understand the rich history. The Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, where you can visit the tomb of King Tut and many other nobles. While visiting the Valley, you can visit the Colossi of Memnon. Edfu is the next city where you will visit the temple of Horus, the falcon God and its sanctuary with Pharaonic architecture. Kom Ombo is marked by the Ptolemaic era and its temples of the sun of God and the crocodile God can be found here. Let’s not forget the Abu Simbel and Karnak temples.

Besides the different cities, travelers will get the chance to visit the Great Pyramids in Cairo, the colorful markets of the bustling city and the bazaars. This unforgettable experience allows travelers to enjoy the sunsets and the sunrises while sipping a drink of having dinner. Just relax for a moment and remember that Kings and Queens have enjoyed this view and these routes, a thousand years ago. This incredible feeling stays with you forever. Welcome in Egypt!
