• Cagayan de Oro

  Cagayan de Oro City is the capital of the province of Misamis Oriental, the regional center for Northern Mindanao. A young city compared to other highly urbanized cities in the Philippines, Cagayan de Oro has a population of over 460,000 in 200,000 households.
  
  Originally chartered as a city as "Cagayan de Misamis," its name was eventually changed to "Cagayan de Oro" in recognition of the gold mining activities in the area known to Spanish explorers.

  My favorite local airport in Mindanao with its new and organized structure and Airport system. They have good amenities and good choices of food as well. They have Kenny Rogers and Seatles Best too. The only problem is the airport is 35-50mins away from CDO :)

  How I wish there's a public bus to bring people to Cagayan de Oro rather than the vans.

  It is tje best airport of the mindanao bit it is so expensive thier terminal fee

  Decent for a small airport. Could do with more seating at the pre-departure area but otherwise it's clean, well-lighted, and airconditioned. For that, you'll have to shell out P200 for the terminal fee.

  I've been here several times now, and the place is still well-ordered, clean, and manned by friendly, attentive, and professional people. During my last visit, I noticed that the airport authorities have finally implemented the ban on patronizing colorum (not permitted/authorized to act as a public transport) vehicles. Good call, guys.

  A very modern facility . Attendant's​ are very helpful . Only issue was a rude Muslim woman in the airport .

  Laguindingan Airport serves as the main gateway to Northern Mindanao. The airport is fairly new but the terminal is smaller than expected. It has all of the things that you would expect from a first-class airport like free wifi, a smoking area, restaurants, duty free shopping, and security.

  Clean terminal with stunning views of the sea. About 45 minutes drive from CDO, that is if the roads are clear and traffic is light. However, on 8 April 2017, it took us 3 hours to reach CDO from Laguindingan due to two bridges being repaired and a motor vehicle accident which caused a massive traffic congestion. Leave early! The staff though are very helpful and friendly. Be prepared to give the exact 200 pesos terminal fee as finding change can be a problem.

  I thought this airport is international!? Malayo masyado sa CDO. Mas convenient pa kung sa Lumbia pa ang airport.
• Arcanium Gamer Squad
  This airport is new, I think it was built 4 or 5 years ago, but they are chasing to be one of the best airports in Philippines! Going there might be hard especially when it's raining so they got to put barriers at the sides of the streets because some of the surroundings are hillsides. Now the airport, they have strong wifi, lots of foods but few stores and also the security check is really vulnerable so watch out. The airlines I know that lands here are commonly Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines

  Average airport, I am shocked that it is so far from CDO city proper. Allot at least 3 hours, if you are coming from the city so that you will catch your flight

  Good airport support and crews very friendly and accommodating. Not crowded. The comfort rooms are well maintained.

  The departures area at Laguindingan feels a bit cramped, but the tall windows reduce the feeling of claustrophobia. Only the airbridge at Gate 2 is operational, so all passengers using Gate 1 have to walk on the apron. The runway length should be increased from the current 2100m; landings can be rough and sudden as pilots bring the aircraft to a stop quickly. The arrivals area is chaotic, with people shouting at passengers asking if they want to ride on an airport shuttle or a metered taxi. On the plus side, the airport staff are friendly, helpful and easy-going. Overall it's an improvement over the old Lumbia Airport, but a lot more needs to be done, like having a new and larger terminal.

  Modern airport with clean washrooms. Plenty of seating area. Complimentary phone charging stations.

  Small Domestic Airport. Upon entry, you are required to pay for a mandatory, non-refundable Terminal Fee of 200PHP. Seats are plenty. They have Kenny Rogers & Coffee for a quick grab. But the view is excellent, facing the sea

  Ive'd been there last May 2017 ....its so clean and beautiful. 15 minutes away from my hometown.

  This is one of my favorite Airport, because everytime I travel the clouds color and formation is irresistible to look at. Public utility vehicles have terminal outside that's why it is so accessible, there's also a lot of pasalubong area inside where you can buy pastel and other delicacies from CDO, including shirts, keychains etc.

  This airport is relatively new and is far from the city proper.

  From all my experience on international flights around the world I was not even aware of an international carrier with so dirty and muddy mats. My bags got all dirty after using such mats. It is the responsibility of the airport administration to improve the cleaning of the facilities, especially since travelers are charged a usage fee.
