• Shimla

  Shimla is Himachal Pradesh’s capital city and is extremely beautiful. In 1864, during the British Rule, it became India’s summer capital. It’s very popular among tourists and is known as the “Queen of Hills”. Its old and large railway tracks link Shimla with Kalka. These railway tracks were enlisted in the World’s heritage list by UNESCO.  It is 120 kilometres away from Chandigarh which is among India’s major cities and from Delhi its 365 kilometres away which is not only a major city but also its capital. The name Shimla originated from a Goddess’s name, Shyamala Devi. She is known as the incarnation of another goddess, Kali.

  During summers, the climate is fairly warm and during winters it’s mainly cold. Its Mall is a shopping central street for tourists who come here seeking freedom from the hot summers in India.

• Leh

  Leh is the capital of Ladakh, now the Leh District in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Leh is at an altitude of 3,500 meters. Leh has for centuries been an important stopover on trade routes along the Indus Valley between Tibet to the east, Kashmir to the west and also between India and China. The old town of Leh was added to the World Monuments Fund's list of 100 most endangered sites due to increased rainfall from climate change and other reasons. Neglect and changing settlement patterns within the old town have threatened the long-term preservation of this unique site.
  
  The temperature can range from −30° C (-22° F) in winter to 33° C (91° F) in summer. Leh has a cold, arid climate with long, harsh winters from October to early March, with minimum temperatures well below freezing for most of the winter. The city gets occasional snowfall during winter. The weather in the remaining months is generally fine. Leh is well contected to New Delhi Srinagar and Jammu via air and to Srinagar and Manali via road.

  Hi Everyone We visited this beautiful resort in their peak summer season during the summer vacation when Simla was overcrowded and brimming with tourists but loved the experience every bit. The resort is in a serene location with luxurious rooms and customized in house service. The rooms overlook tall pine trees and the star lit sky, which gives you a feel of camping under the moon. The staff was courteous and fulfilled all our demands despite having a full house very competently and in good time. The owners-a friendly couple were personally there to oversee the arrangements and make their guests feel home. We intended to stay a day but wanted to stay in longer due to the soulful time we experienced. All in all it really was a marvelous place and experience!

  This restaurant is in Naldehra, few kms away from Shimla. You can have your breakfast, lunch, dinner or even some snacks. Veg and Non-veg both available at this restaurant. Free wi-fi is also available.
