    • Kyrenia

In the 10th BC, Kyrenia was founded by Achaean settlers. It was thought to be among Cyprus’s 10 kingdoms for a number of centuries. Later on in the 7th century, Byzantine, after expansion, originally constructed the first Castle. The Castle was first formed by the Lusignans and was reconstructed by the Venetians. When under the Ottomans rule, the town was an insignificant port. The British constructed a harbor and a Quay respectively. Visiting the museums of  Folk Art and Icons is highly recommended.

the Town had already remained a good resting place for caprains, officers and their families while travelling when it was under the British Empire, because of its romantic and attractive atmosphere, beautiful harbor and picturesque situation. The Town’s character and value still retains because of its old bars and historical restaurants beside the Harbour and a number of small hotels spreading along the coastline which rises to from an impressive backdrop with the mountains behind. Because of numerous historical worth visiting sites, the region has now become an attractive resort for holiday.

      • Top class hotel. Best for business. Liked the kind and helpfull staff.
      • The hotel is vrey beautiful Good hotel with spa. The food is good
      • Currently sitting by the poolside of this hotel writing this review. Excellence in all areas of this hotel. The Staff are World class and happy to help. The hotel is squeaky clean and maintained constantly. It shows! Only a five minute drive to the Castle in Limassol where most the places are to eat. Location is great. Although the food at the hotel is devine! It almost feels like a secret place to get alway and unwind. Amazing! We will see you again.
      • We visit the Alasia Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is locatet 2,5 km away from the old town and 6 km away from the tourist area. In Interieur is very nice and modern. They have a nice Spa in the Basement, but you need a apoitment for the Spa, because it is very small. The breakfest is not so good, the waiters and the cooks are very lasy. I say every morning, the fried eggs, the omelet and the haloumi cheese is cold. They bring me a new fried egg, but they did not change the food on the buffet. And the restaurant was not full.
