  Karpacz is a typical mountain town, situated at the foot of Śnieżka Mountain in Karkonosze region, in Łomnica valley and its tributaries. That area includes the most attractive eastern part of mountain ridge.

  Karpacz is located in a narrow yet seep Valley named Lomnica. Its altitude is known to range from 480 to 885 meters above sea level. The main street extending through 7 kilometers up to Bierutowicka pass at the altitude of 820 meters, is the axis of the area.

  The owner wanted well, but it turned out badly. The building is not the first freshness: terribly creaking floors. The walls of kartongipsu between the rooms do not provide any intimacy - you hear every word, fart or sarcé neighbors. The bathroom is missing a radiator. Some mini bathtub instead of a full-sized bathtub or shower is a misunderstanding. (Or the Czech custom). You can not wash it so that it is comfortable and does not spill the whole bathroom, in which there is still moisture, because there is no radiator. The rooms in the back of the building have a small window 75x75 cm in the corridor - inside it is gloomy and depressive and there is no ventilation. Common parts, corridors, restaurant - everything is dark and also depressing. Very poor lighting with energy-saving bulbs. A complete lack of climate and any decorations for skiing. Pictures on booking or google made by a professional photographer show the place in a better light. The rooms were not once vacuumed, not replaced towels - and this is finally a hotel with a name. For me, a rather poor guest house at a price of 130 € per room per night. Quite expensive for a standard. The cleanliness of the common parts also leaves a lot to be desired: cobwebs, dust, unwashed floors - the stain on the stairs was throughout the week. The barman, receptionist and waiter in one person is a gloomy and secretive man. Surrounding facilities (the whole village Svoboda) is even more depressing himself. Roundabouts, factories, shops and houses around. Air smelling of garbage or even tar, suffocating and scratching the throat. That there are not, there are also pros: comfortable beds and great cook - dishes from the card are delicious. Homemade, simple and very tasty: duck, goulash, fried cheese! But the smell of food feel in the whole object. Monotonous breakfasts. Wlasciciel chcial dobrze, ale wyszlo nieciekawie. Budynek nie jest pierwszej swiezosci: strasznie skrzypia podlogi. Sciany z kartongipsu miedzy pokojami nie zapewniaja zadnej intymnosci - slychac kazde slowo, pierdniecie czy smarkanie sasiadow. W lazience brakuje kaloryfera. Jakas mini wanna zamiast pelnowymiarowej wanny czy prysznica to nieporozumienie. (Albo czeski zwyczaj). Nie da sie umyc tak, zeby bylo wygodnie i niezachlapac calej lazienki, w ktorej wciaz jest wilgoc, bo nie ma kaloryfera. Pokoje w tylnej czesci budynku maja male okienko 75x75 cm na korytarz - wewnatrz jest ponuro i depresyjnie oraz brakuje wentylacji. Czesci wspolne, korytarze, restauracja - wszystko ciemne i rowniez depresyjne. Bardzo slabe oswietlenie zarowkami energooszczednymi. Zupelny brak klimatu i jakichkolwiek dekoracji nawiazujacych do narciarstwa. Zdjecia na bookingu czy google wykonane przez profesjonalnego fotografa pokazuja miejsce w lepszym swietle. W pokojach nie bylo ani razu odkurzone, nie wymienione reczniki - a to w koncu hotel z nazwy. Dla mnie raczej slaby pensjonat w cenie 130€ za pokoj za noc. Dosc drogo jak na standard. Czystosc czesci wspolnych tez pozostawia duzo do zyczenia: pajeczyny, kurz, niemyte podlogi - plama na schodach byla przez caly tydzien. Barman, recepcjonista i kelner w jednej osobie to ponury i skryty czlowiek. Otoczenie obiekty (cala wies Svoboda) jest jeszcze bardziej przygnebiajace on sam. Dookola opuszczone kamienice, fabryki, sklepy, domy. Powietrze smierdzace smieciami czy nawet smola, duszace i drapiace w gardlo. Zeby nie bylo, sa tez plusy: wygodne lozka i swietny kucharz - dania z karty wysmienite. Domowe, proste i bardzo smaczne: kaczka, gulasz, smazony ser! Ale zapach jedzenia czuc w calym obiekcie. Monotonne sniadania.

  From the outside, the hotel did not like me very much, but inside you will find simply furnished nice little beds with very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are clean with a bed, a cupboard and a fan. The bathroom with the toilet was also clean. As a bonus, the hairdryer was in the bathroom. At the restaurant there was a small children's play area, which really liked my daughter (for younger children). Half board: for dinner there was no food to choose from, but everything we had was very good. Breakfast was sweet, salty, fresh pastries, fruits and vegetables. Everything for everyone. Z venku mě hotel moc neoslovil, ale uvnitř najdete jednoduše zařízeny hezký hotýlek s velmi příjemnou a ochotnou obsluhou. Pokoje jsou čisté s postelí, skříní a větrákem. Koupelna se záchodem byly také čisté. Jako bonus byl v koupelně fén. U restaurace byl malý dětský koutek, který se velice líbil mojí dceři (pro menší děti). Polopenze: k večeři nebylo jídlo na výběr, ovšem vše co jsme měli bylo moc dobré. K snídani bylo sladké, slané, čerstvé pečivo, ovoce i zelenina. Pro každého něco.
