What is it like as a foreigner in Buenos Aires?
My boyfriend and I are currently living in Cambodia and looking to relocate sometime in early 2017. We are looking into Argentina (it would be both of our first times) and considering Buenos Aires as an option. I would love any and all input from seasoned expats on finding a job, accommodation, culture, cost of living, and anything else you can think of! (As far as jobs go, I'm a certified yoga instructor and he is a photo-journalist. We are also both university graduates with TEFL certifications. I speak Spanish relatively well, he does not speak at all, but is hoping to learn!) Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest visiting for a few weeks before making a long-term commitment. The culture here is far different than Cambodia and adapting may be more difficult than you may anticipate. That said, there is a quite large expat population here, many of whom are working in the underground (black) economy. Things are challenging here, as they always are, with an overvalued peso, so costs are going to be higher than you may expect as well.

Job difficult or bad payed. Accommodation in Buenos Aires it's expensive and cost of living i's elevated for the incomes here. Life quality sucks! Good luck.

Buenos Aires is a beautiful fun city. The economy has its issues right now, but it shouldn't be too hard to find work as yoga instructor, and you certainly could teach privately if all else fails. A nice one in Palermo is between AR$8000 and AR$15000. An average salary is AR$15000 - 25000
