beaches in Corfu are mostly sandy and vast, South of Paleokastritsa beach; characterized by a mixture of sand, pebbles and are long. On the East side of Corfu, beaches are smaller and have pebbles, while in Messonghai the beach is large and sandy. On the southern of Corfu at Alikes of Lefkimi, the beach is sandy but not so popular among the tourists.

Wherever the sea meets the land in Corfu, is beach. Moreover, 90% of beaches located in the Western and Northern part of the island are sandy, many of them are vast carrying crysatal Golden sand.
