Secretly rent out a room in Airbnb in Portugal
Hello all, looking for suggestions. How common is it to rent out a room in Airbnb as tenant without informing the landlord/lady?

    It breaks your rental agreement and Portugal requires that you register all Airbnb units, and it's unethical. What more do you want to know in your request for "suggestions?"

Yep, against rental contract law here.

Rental contracts with the landlord can agree for the possibility of rental to third parties but it directly affects the type of insurance needed on the property.

Very dodgy.

The Camara Municipal polices unregistered AirBnB listings (or at least tries to).

Places operating as an AirBnB without an AL (alojamento local) registration can be fined up to €20,000
