Worth the drive from Les Angeles
We were met by the very friendly Madam of the property, it was quiet on a drizzly afternoon. I asked her if there was somewhere local we could go for swim. She said there's one here (in the hotel). So the lad and I were able to jump in the pool and then warm up in the sauna afterwards. The pool area must be a massive waste of fuel as there just a corrigated roof, and you can see the steam rising from the water. It's a bit basic, and damn cold when you get out - but a bit of a winner if you don't want to go out into the cold and rain. Food I was told was available too - the Master of the house is from southern Spain and he and the lady produce some great traditional french cuisine. I love my duck - and this was perfect: just watch out I didn't ask, but mine came with white beans. I do prefer chips, but this is apparently a common side in this Catalan region. Parking was OK as I was the first in, I think it filled up in the night as the hotel was fill, but no problem. We've stayed in Les Angeles town before, I would advise that if you need to get into your car (ie not using the ferry buses), then you might as well spend 5 mins more and drive out to somewhere like this which has more features, more friendly and was a fair bit cheaper too!
