Most scenic train journey I ever took! Jacobite Train Review

The Jacobite steamtrain going from Fort William to Mallaig is probably best known as the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter movies. However, this train journey is regarded as one of the most scenic in the world. You will travel through the Scottish Highlands and the highlight is, without doubt, the Glenfinnan Viaduct. It’s not only a great journey if you have kids or are a Harry Potter fan. If you plan to take this journey, you can buy tickets at the Fort William train station, but it is recommended to book your seats in advance online, since they do sell out quickly. It’s a great experience, and it would be a shame not to be able to do it.
