Can I climb Kilimanjaro without a guide?

No, the use of a guide is obligated on Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro trekkings are a huge source of income for local people here so all travelers wanting to climb the mountain need to register and use a legit trekking service. When I climbed the mountain in 2012, I used the company African Spoonbill. They were really good.
