Ideapark shopping mall is one of the biggest Finnish shopping places that have literally everything. I visit here regularly but I still feel like I find something new every time. Ideapark is easily accessible from Tampere by local bus but also accessible from around Finland by car because it is located next to highway. There is a lot of free parking spots so you will never have hard time finding one. As driver I think that is one of the main things that make me visit Ideapark regularly.

There are many different shops from expensive couture to cheaper mass fashion, from Finnish hand-made products to supermarkets. If you are tourist I would recommend visiting Ideapark’s old town. I usually do my shopping on the fashion shops you can find next to the old town. If you want something different and fun, take look to the fabric and furniture shops you can find from upstairs. Even if you can’t buy anything, it is fun to just walk around and maybe take rest between shopping sitting on cozy couch.

In addition to shops and restaurants Ideapark has indoor amusement park Funpark, cultural centre PiiPoo for children and central square for different events like concerts, markets and exhibitions. My favorite thing is that central square because its floor is huge image of Finland’s map. It is good place to take photos.
