Magical place Vodopad Veliki Buk Review

Waterfall Lisine is one of the rare natural treasures of eastern Serbia. I’ve been several times, in the spring and in summer. It is really gorgeous and quiet place to have a meal and enjoy the nature. Imagine having a lunch near waterfall! Listening the sound of the water.. just perfect!
Not only that the nature is amazing, the large waterfall and a small lake that this water forms, there are some nice places to stay for a lunch or dinner. I remember the restaurant nearby the waterfall that is situated in the rock. It is called ‘’Lisinski raj’’ ( ‘’The Lisine paradise’’) The part of the big rock near waterfall is actually a part of the restaurant. It looks like a small cave, so cool. They serve nice rakija with loads of flavors, and the meals are abundant. The menu is typical, grilled meat and vegetables. The best thing is that they offer trout from their own ponds and it’s super delicious.The staff is nice and friendly, they recommend what’s best for you, sometimes even to split the portions because they are really big ( approx. 400 grams each). One of the restaurants have a huge garden and there are streams with small bridges, the benches nearby . Lovely garden indeed. It all looks like you came out of a fairytale.
Every time I go there I feel calm and nice, so definitely coming back this summer!
