      • Worth a stop. Passed by here on the way from Inverness to edinburgh. Lovely spot with well prepared food. Definitely try the ice cream!
      • Fabulous spot for Sunday lunch. Black Isle Dairy Ice Cream is brilliant!
      • Stopped off here for a coffee whilst working. The staff we're friendly and polite. Prices are reasonable and the coffee was good, although my latte had a little too much foam for my liking. The décor is clean and warm. Edit: I've now eaten here and the food is delicious. I ordered one of the specials which was a mushroom, garlic and thyme soup which was very tasty, albeit a little heavy on the garlic for my taste.
      • Excellent café restaurant with good play area for kids
      • The food was outstanding, for the price. Absolutely loved it here, a real little gem. It's not brilliantly signposted from the main road so keep your eyes peeled (or use Google maps of course!) but do stop in even if it's just for a cream tea. Great menu selection. Very pleasant staff. So glad I stumbled upon this place.

      • Maybe just a bad day
With three friends, we stopped at the Dairy for lunch. We walked into the cafe and waited at the 'to be seated' sign for some time. As we were not noticed, I walked over to the counter to ask for a table and received a grudging response that we could be seated at a table 'over there'.

We were given menus and again sat for some time. People who arrived after us were served and we began to wonder if we had upset the staff in some way. We tried to catch the staff attention but eventually I got up and asked one of the staff if we could order and they came to take it.

The order arrived and was wrong! We had more than we asked for (extra sandwiches ) and were charged for it. By that time we were pretty disillusioned with the place and decided that it was not worth complaining and.

The food was actually very good but we will not be returning.
