Users Assigned: KazmiLocated on the southern coast of the baltic sea Rostock remains a popular hub for ferries to all major baltic countries.
If you are planning to go to Denmark you can take a ferry from here. It is a very easy trip to make. You can buy your ticket on the internet. It is relaxing, and well organized. You enter in Nykobing in Denmark. From there you can drive toward Kopenhagen and take the new bridge to Sweden. It is an easy road to drive. You enter Sweden in Malmo.
However, give the city a chance. This city is full of treasures if you are ready to see them. It may not be the most spectacular Hanseatic town along the Baltic Sea. If you expect five-star sights and tourist infrastructure everywhere, better see Lübeck, Wismar, or Stralsund. If you are, on the other hand, interested in a treasure hunt, and into Germany's recent history and seeing the changes after the reunification, Rostock may pleasantly surprise you.

DKB-Arena0.87 Km from RostockThe DKB-Arena (pronounced Deh-Kah-Beh-Arena), previously known as Ostseestadion, is the home stadium of F.C. Hansa Rostock, a German football club, located in the city of Rostock. "Ostseestadion" translates in English to "Baltic Sea Stadium", and is named after the Baltic Sea, whose coast Rostock lies upon. On 2 July 2007, Hansa Rostock sold the naming rights for the following 10 years to Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB), hence the new official name is "DKB Arena".
