Poor curry and absolute rip off. I personally ordered a lamb sizzler and the the lamb was mineced into tiny pieces. There was also hardly any lamb in it. It was more like a vegetarian dish. The meat was also relatively chewey. I think it has been cooked from frozen. We went as a party of 12. We each ordered a starter, a main and side plus a few drinks. The average curry is £7 plus £3 rice and £4 starter. That's should be about £168 for 12 people. We ordered a beer each as well but the meal came to a staggering £450. I think we have truly been ripped off. The owner even offered us free shots. I reckon this was because they added another £200 to the bill. Why do restaurants do this, I don't understand. They'll only get a bad review and stop people coming back. Anyway, shame on them!

I've been going to Joy for years. Joy by name, joy by nature. Consistent service and food, which is obviously very good.

Really good food, friendly staff. On a Saturday it doesn't seem to get busy until around 8:30/9pm!

Good local Indian food. Practically, very similar to Maya or The Rose, but the service is a tad friendlier, and the vegetarian menu is much better!

Visited and enjoyed deliveries many times over the years and never been anything less than perfectly satisfied. Last night's lamb Banjara and Badal Jaam combo was a sensation.

AnonymousJoy´s indian is a pleasant restaurant serving good food and isn´t too expensive. The breads are excellent as as the lamb, lentil and paneer dishes. The restuarant has a nice modern feel to it and they have a good selection of wines. Whatever your preference i would highly recommend Joy.
