        • Simple, homely tasting food. I really like it because it has no artificial taste. They also do a lot of organic food for children and I'm comfortable feeding my 2 year old son at Jamie's.
        • Great service, nice atmosphere, very clean cozy and serving delicious food .
        • Very noisy restaurant. Seats are not comfortable. Took a long time to be served. I had a Caesar salad, which had no dressing. Unfortunately the food was very bland and the service was poor. I have been here previously, and the food was great,
        • Always a pleasure visiting this restaurant. Staff are always on form and the food never disappoints
        • Busy restaurant, good food & wine and personable staff. Great for families and friends.

My mother in law recently treated us to a meal at Jamie´s Italian. The kids had pizza, pasta and a burger. The pizza was poor, very bready with lots of tomato sauce - too much for a kid. the pasta with meat balls was small but went down very well with my daughter. the burger was the star of the show beautifully presented, a good size and really tasty. The little salad pots were a hit with all 3 kids. Us adults had the meat and veg board which are fun but pricy and for mains we had aubergine and prawn linguine. The aubergine was very disappointing. mine was undercooked and quite unpleasant to eat. we had waited quite a while so i didn´t want to complain. the prawn linguine was a generous portion but a bit bland. The wine was expensive as was the bread, nearly 4 quid! Even with the kids eat free offer, considering i´d ordered an aubergine that wasn´t cooked it felt very expensive. If you go with low expectations or if you don´t cook yourself then you won´t feel robbed.
