  • Late night Tapas in Gracia Sol Square
We managed to get some free babysitting when we visited our friends in BCN recently. Our kids were having a sleepover so we were able to have a night out. I've always wanted to check out other neighbourhoods of Barcelona as the main Born & Rambla are so insanely touristy - so the food is poor and expensive. Gracia is a little further north and fitted the bill. It's a lot more "local" here but there are of course tourists too (like us). We were told that the tapas bars close at 1am and the kitchens at midnight and this is typically the case - but this tapas bar at least continues to serve food later as long as it doesn't require cooking (the equipment is still shut off at midnight). There's plenty of things on the menu which are still available. The outdoor square seating closes at a midnight too.
