Overview You can't Edit
Users Assigned: KazmiKoh Chang is located in the Trat province, in south-east Thailand. It's the second biggest island in the country, and has some 5000 people living there. There is a road that follows the coastline, almost all the way around the island. On the west coast you'll find most of the beaches, whilst the center of the island is covered by forest - perfect for a hike! Most of the island is still a national park and well preserved.
For travelers, there's a wide range of places to stay the night, from the cheapest bungalows to the most fancy hotels. The government is working hard to keep the island clean and preserve the wildlife both on land and in the ocean. To help fund this, high class tourism seems to be the priority from now on.

Koh chang is the best place for me.. i visited many places but found this place the best. It's about 6 hours by car from bangkok airport than you have to take ferry for koh Chang.. from far it's looks like a small place in the sea.. but when you reach there you can't believe on your eyes that how much beautiful place is that. Many attraction here which can convince you easily to visit here many times.. I stayed in grand view hotel.. there were nice rooms and good gesture from the staff of the hotel. Elephant trakking is the best activity I did there... it was like an adventure for me.. that had to sit elephant without any support and than elephant dive in the river that was really amazing activity just in 1000bhat it's called bath with elephant.. and 2nd thing was beautifulwaterfall there.. I really love that place.. clean and cold water.. little fishes are giggling you.. really amazing time was that.. Strongly recommended for anyone who will visit thailand should go kohchang. At saday bar restaurant there was daily program of fire show.. and than live music.. that was also very very beautiful time for me to enjoy and dance on the songs. Kashif
