• Kaleici

  Kaleici, also referred to as citadel is of great historical significance. It is located along the Mediterranean coast and formerly, Kaleici served as the city centre of Antalya.
  
  It is surrounded by fortified walls from the inside and outside. The walls were built more than 2000 years ago and today some of the walls are still in existence. Some civilizations that inhabited the city are believed to have constructed the fortified walls.
  
  The city was confined within this wall until modern times. Today, Kaleici is characterized by historical buildings, several beautiful boutique hotels, beach hotels, and budget pensions that offer top class accommodation facilities in the coastal town.

• Suna - İnan Kıraç Kaleiçi Müzesi / Suna & İnan Kıraç Kaleiçi Museum

  The museum comprises of two main parts: St. George, the church of Hagios Georgios (Aya Yorgi church) and a two storey building constructed in the 19th century.

  The Church of Hagios Georgios is of great historical significance to Antalya and is one the five orthodox churches in Kaleici that are known.

  Its features include a Mediterranean architectural design with a vaulted ceiling decorated in plaster motifs and different shades of blue, the vaulted ceiling symbolizes paradise. Cannakkale ceramics exhibition is housed within the church. Suna and Inan Kirac collection found at the exhibition displays some of Canakkale ceramics.

  The two-storey building is an example of a traditional Antalya-area house of the 1800s. In this part, the traditional scenes from Turkish culture are exhibited.

  Opening hour: the Kaleici museum is open on Thursday to Tuesday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.

  Wonderful place in Antalya. I was there in day and in the night, but i can say this place offers nice atmosphere, because you can see landing of the aircrafts over the head.

  Very nice view. Beautiful waterfall surrounded by a park. It's a good place to relax and stretch your legs. On a sunny day you can even see two rainbows. There are boats that go from the Old Marina and offer you the chance to see the falls from the sea.

  Magnificent looks of this waterfalls. Nice place to visit with wonderful surroundings.

  Beautiful falls for a quick look from above in the park or in crowded season rising boats that go near the falls

  The place is nice for taking pictures.. There are many people selling street food around. You can see also the aeroplanes each 10 minutes preparing for landing in Antalya airport.
