          Beautiful area. Historic abbey and lovely church to visit. Activities to keep the kids interested as they walk through the woods. Spend a whole day just relaxing by the river. Can get very busy. Car park currently £10 for the day which gives you access to 3 car parks but considering the area and facilities then at your disposal I would say its a bargain.

          Absolutely love this place the kids loved it too. Very idyllic. Beautiful British country side. So much to see. Great walks and so much wildlife. Definalty recommend the walks etc great for family's.

          The rolling hills and fells offer ever changing majestic scenery around every bend in the road. You can walk almost anywhere and you have to keep stopping. Not just for breath, but to try and take in the beauty of the place. Best on a sunny day :-)

          The Yorkshire Dales is comprised of many hills, fells and dales. Each beautiful in its own right. Each worthy of a full day's adventure - pick any Dale on a map and you're bound to find many things to entertain, young or old.

          The Yorkshire Dales is one of the best, prettiest and most lovely places in the entire world. I believe it's voted as one of the top 5 things by lonely planet! Many beautiful villages, hill ranges, forests and rivers; multiple country pubs with award winning foods and beers made nearby. Can see why it is known as Gods Own Country. Just a smashing place to stay, walk through or even just drive through, especially on a sunny day, no where better in my opinion. Genuinely.
