  Lake Buena Vista is the city where Walt Disney World Resort is actually located. Not Orlando or Kissimmee. It is currently being run by the Walt Disney Company.
  
  When going around the Disney World complex, it does feel like a separate city in itself, as if in its own bubble from the rest of the world.
  
  Basically, Lake Buena Vista may be used in an official capacity, but people will just refer to the area as Disney World.

• Kissimmee

  Kissimmee is a rural community located to the southwest of downtown Orlando.
  
  Until recently, Kissimmee was a rather residential community that bordered on St. Cloud, another rural central Floridian town. With urban development, the town has become increasingly more geared towards tourists.
  
  The town of Kissimmee is about 25 minutes from Walt Disney World or Universal Studios, and 45 minutes to an hour from Downtown Orlando.
  
  Kissimmee is a great place to find cheap accommodation when visiting the theme parks.
  
  Lake Tohopekaliga, locally known as Lake Toho, is a popular site for water sports or lakeside picnic lunches. It sits to the south of the town.

  All Star Movies Resort is awesome. The creativity in the exterior decor is fun for all. Rooms are smaller than an average motel room, with full-sized beds (not queen-sized, as we'd expected). There is enough storage space for our family of three for the two nights we stayed; longer stays will require living out of a suitcase. Bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. The hair dryer was adequate, but not high-wattage. Pools had plenty of chairs and towels. There were also beach balls available for kids. Lifeguards are on duty during all pool hours. Dining hall is convenient but pricey. Fast-food meals cost $32-35 for our family. The refillable cups are $18, but worth it for the unlimited refills.

  Once in a lifetime experience. My family's first time here and we love it. We went to Magic Kingdom and it was exciting. I gave it a 4 because I thought it would be a little bite more updated and extravagant, since it is "Disney". We didn't see any of the Disney characters walking around which was a bomber. The rides were great especially the haunted mansion love love love. The fireworks at the closing was an experience that I will never forget. To see all nationalities come together to view this magically event was so heartfelt. It was like time stopped and everything was good. I recommend that you scratch this experience off of your bucket list, it's worth it. The fact that Disney has so many attractions and different parks it makes you want to go back every year until you complete each park, and I will lol. Customer service is so great theirs always someone there to help and help with a smile. We really enjoyed ourselves.

  I live in Florida. Disney World is one of my favorite places to visit. I normally stay at Pop Century. It's a budget resort but still treats guests great at a good price. The bus system is very convenient but since it is a budget resort, expect to walk to the last stop at whatever park you go to. It's fine with me, because it's not a long walk at all. The parks can get crowded; however, during off season it is much less crowded. The food is always good, no matter where you eat on Disney property. I've never had an issue. Resort employees are always nice, respectful and go above and beyond. One would think with how rude people can be and how crazy children can get that Disney customer service would lose it but they never do. They must have nerves of steel! The annual pass is well worth it, too, if you are a local and like to go more than a few times per year. It's affordable because it gives discounts on everything from resort stays to merchandise and after 4 or 5 park visits it pays for itself.

  It's where kids dreams come true. Need I say more? Okay maybe a bit more for you parents...Each pass to the park comes with 3 fast-pass tickets. You must use all 3 before you can reserve another fast pass. Fast passes are unlimited as long as time slots are available and only one at a time following your initial 3 selections. Stop by the dumbo ride and take advantage of the A.C. and inside playground if going during the summer. DOWNLOAD THE APP. It shows you wait times, locations of the characters, the pictures you take at the park, and GPS directions to wherever you want to go. Best of luck!

  Best place around. It now costs a ton but still has a great quality and amazing service. I would use a Disney hotel for your stay to save on the parking, get into the parks a little earlier, and do food shopping outside the park to save even more money. Can't wait for star wars and more additions. Disney springs is awesome for those who want a Disney feel without a park ticket price.
