• Fort Worth

  If two cities were ever more opposite it would be Fort Worth and Dallas, however together they provide the perfect combination of style and arts to please everyone. Fort Worth, also known as "Cow-Town" to the natives, is Dallas' artsy-er half. Here you will almost always find live music downtown in Sundance Square, and artists from all over the south come to set up a stand and sell their creations. The laid back culture and fairly small downtown area allows you to walk from bar to bar and sometimes you will see more people standing around outside the bars listening to the music in the streets. This is what really gives the charm to the city, and is one of the beneifts to Fort Worth that D town can't provide.
  
  To really experience some true Texas country, visit the Fort Worth stock yards, just watch out for the "Cow Patties," or sit on the patio at the famous Joe T. Garcia's Mexican restaurant.
  Other notables, Bass performance hall, the modern museum,the water gardens, and the Fort worth zoo that is consistently rated in the top 5 in the US.
  
  Dallas has many professional sports teams, but Fort Worth has it's own collection of minor league teams.
  
  Fort Worth is my favorite over Dallas. Dallas has traffic jams that get real bad. They have one 4 mile stretch on interstate where all the interstates combine for a large mess. One of the interstates jams up and it causes all the interstates to lock up. It seems that none of the interstates are continuous where you have to exit to another road then later exit to the same interstate. No thanks to Dallas.
  Fort Worth has less traffic, but smaller traffic to jam up for a while.
  Fort Worth is much more laid back and a better place to live.

• Arlington

• Grapevine

  Grapevine is a city located in Tarrant and Dallas counties. The city is part of the Dallas Fort Worth Statistical Area and its city limits are mostly within the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, neighboring cities such as Irving and Coppell.
  
  In recent years several wineries have opened in Grapevine, and the city has been very active in maintaining its historic downtown corridor. It has become known for its small local boutiques, wine shops, and street festivals. The city is adjacent to Grapevine Lake, a large reservoir impounded by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1952 and serves as both a source of water and recreational area. Part of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is located within Grapevine city limits, the largest portion of any municipality bordering the facility. In 2007 CNNMoney rated Grapevine as one of "America's Best Places to Live."

• Irving

  Irving is a suburb, west of Dallas, and is most famous for being the home of Texas Stadium, where the Dallas Cowboys play.
  
  Irving has become a powerhouse for industrial business and lower-end commerce. You can find many imports from various locations, unfinished antiques, and about a million types of household items. Big business is slowly moving into Irving bringing with it jobs, restaurants, and housing opportunities. Irving is centrally located on several freeways which lead right into Dallas.

  NEVER GOING BACK. My wife and I made reservations with a non-obstructed view and were sat directly behind a 4'x4' pillar. It's ridiculous that Scat sells obstructed seats and falsely advertises others (we were the third couple seated in a room which accommodated an estimated 120+). After we were seated behind A WALL, we politely asked to be moved to a table with an unobstructed view...you know...like what we paid $45 for. We were rudely told no because all tables were reserved. This wasn't true because there were two lines formed - one for those with reservations and one without. There were plenty of people without reservations that were being seated after those with reservations. I asked, a second time, to be moved to a table with a view before the non-reserved were seated. Makes sense right? Not for this unprofessional establishment. Their failure to provide basic hospitality was disappointing.

  Nice relaxed Adult atmosphere. Great service, excellent libations, fun crowd. I really enjoyed it. No food though - so make sure you eat before you arrive 😊

  I love this place!!! Especially when Mahogany is performing!! It is very nice mixed crowd. It's definitely a nice place to relax and feel like you're in New Orleans. The drinks are awesome and strong!☺ the only thing I don't like is people can smoke in there. I hate smoke!!!

  Was really great singing and musicians !!! Excellent atmosphere.... however to be frank the bathroom for men was very nasty. Wait times between drink orders was long. My 4 stars is for atmosphere and music solely. I will try them out again but if those bathrooms are dirty and you can tell have gone for several days between cleaning then that will be my last time going there. I want this place to succeed but it has to be earned by doing a great clean and fast service.

  Was taken here on a date recently. I was very impressed. Entrance located in a back alley which is an elevator taking you to the basement which really helps its mystique. Its a nice dimly lit lounge with a nice bar, plenty of seating for couples and small groups and an intimate view of the band stage. Has a pretty good cocktail menu. The band played till about 1:30 am that Sat and the sound was really good. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others
