  Kissimmee is a rural community located to the southwest of downtown Orlando.
  
  Until recently, Kissimmee was a rather residential community that bordered on St. Cloud, another rural central Floridian town. With urban development, the town has become increasingly more geared towards tourists.
  
  The town of Kissimmee is about 25 minutes from Walt Disney World or Universal Studios, and 45 minutes to an hour from Downtown Orlando.
  
  Kissimmee is a great place to find cheap accommodation when visiting the theme parks.
  
  Lake Tohopekaliga, locally known as Lake Toho, is a popular site for water sports or lakeside picnic lunches. It sits to the south of the town.

• Lake Buena Vista

  Lake Buena Vista is the city where Walt Disney World Resort is actually located. Not Orlando or Kissimmee. It is currently being run by the Walt Disney Company.
  
  When going around the Disney World complex, it does feel like a separate city in itself, as if in its own bubble from the rest of the world.
  
  Basically, Lake Buena Vista may be used in an official capacity, but people will just refer to the area as Disney World.

  This is my first night here and I already want to sleep in my car. This room is completely infested with German roaches!!! I mean hundreds of them. I am absolutely disgusted. Other than that, the front desk guy was very proper and nice, and the room is nice. Regardless, I CAN'T TAKE THESE ROACHES!!! I am going to demand a room change or a refund. >:( BLEH!!!

  Management and service is awesome compared to other places like this nearby. Pool is clean and well kept. Rooms are better than other places like this. Beds are comfy. Little dangerous around back buildings at night for children. Everything works well except laundry facilities. Improvements could be made to keep roaches away.

  Too many people in one room..too much drugs around...and no security and this people about 240- 242 much noise

  This place is beyond disgusting! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night due to an emergency. The room had a horrible odor. We contacted the front desk to request a room change but were told that they had absolutely no other rooms available which I find hard to believe especially since the parking lot was completely empty. The room was infested with roaches and insects. To make matters worst, we ended up not getting any sleep at night due to a couple having a violent argument in front of our room. We attempted to report the issue to the front desk but there was no answer. I felt completely unsafe as the argument was extremely violent and the husband was constantly threatening the woman with a knife! We took our complaints to the front desk in the morning and also mentioned the couple arguing in front of our room. The front desk clerk did not apologize nor did she seem the least bit apologetic. Instead, she handed us a complaint card. Do not waste you time or money staying here.

  Well lets see loaded with roaches drug dealers drug addicts felons. Pedophiles. Alcoholics you name it its there.... do not go there . Property management is trash. Treats people like animals. But see i walk with the Lord and he the property management actually for some reason has a vengeance against alot of people cause he goes around throwing people out like we're all trashy like himself. That's why his girl of many years up and left him couldn't stand him either. He's got his coming. God don't like ugly... so i'm sorry but he will get his....Larry is his name so if you live there stay as far away from him as you can. Thanx for letting me leave this review.
