Cheers. Zlata Praha. Golden Prague. Incredible sights to see. For centuries the city has stood as a glittering jewel at the center of Europe, testament to some of the most amazing architecture, beer, and beauty in the entire world. There is no other city which can rival her on Earth, and you will never experience anything even remotely like Prague anywhere else. Lost to the rest of the world under 40 years of communism behind the curtain, the Czech Republic emerged in 1989, and with it came the capital city of Prague, unveiled in all her glory for the first time in nearly half a century. Since then, the city has gone on to become one of the top tourist destinations in Europe, if not the penultimate when it comes to beauty and popularity.

Prague managed to get through World War II relatively unscathed, and there are literally thousands of years worth of architecture to explore, ranging from Gothic, Neo-Classical, Renaissance, Art Nouveau and Baroque. There are literally hundreds of must see sights within the borders of Prague, and it gets its nickname from the golden domes and towers that rise above the landscape like bejeweled fingers clutching at the sky.

The city has been a centralized congregation for people for thousands of years due to the Vltava River, which flows through the center of the city. From the ancient castle known as Vysehrad that started it all, to the Bohemian era and its subsequent Gothic architecture, to the Habsburg era and its hosting of some of the most influential artists and astronomers of the time, to World Wars and the Cold War, the city’s buildings have seen it all over the years. From Old Town to the Astronomical Clock to the Old New Synagogue to Prague Castle—the largest in the world—to the Museum of Decorative Arts, the food, the wine, the beer, and the Golden City will absolutely leave you basking in the glory that is the heart of Central Europe.

        • The best (and definitely the most crowded) ice cream place in Prague. They sell many types of excellent Italian ice cream, which is so delicious that in summer people are ready to wait in a long queue to be able to get it. Portions are quite big, usually two scoops are more than enough. This ice cream shop is small, there are just a few tables outside in case you want to sit down, and there is no table service. The shop assistants speak English. Only payments in cash are accepted.
        • Another amazing ice-cream🍦in Prague. Great selection of sorbets and gelatos. Icecram might look a bit expensive compared to others, but you get nearly double size, incomparable quality and you can even within one portion combine 2 flavours. The only downside is the queue, but definitely worth it.
        • Quick in and out experience even with a line just out the door. Good prices for what you get. Best gelato I've had. Not quite an expert with gelato but out of the few ive had this one takes the cake. Excited to compare this to Italy's. I had the peanut butter, jasmine rice (surprisingly good), and the blue berry cheese cake. If you're in the area and could go for something sweet head on over.
        • One of the best ice-cream I ever had in my life. It ia worth standing the line if there is any.
        • Best gelato in prague. Cash only ! Super friendly staff
        • Best Icecream ever ... worth the wait. The staff are very friendly and service is good.
        • Definitely an incredible gelato place here in Prague. Their gelato stood miles above most other places in terms of taste, variety, quantity, and service. There were more unique flavors than any other place. They let you try them out before buying. And they give you a good portion on a cone! Sure their prices are about 35% higher than any other place you can find on the streets, but this is definitely worth that extra bit for a great experience and delicious gelato.
        • Perfect ice cream for the summer! Good flavours and great taste! Would definitely go again.
        • One word: Horrible!!! PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME LINING UP FOR THIS PLACE. Customer service was horrible. The girl at the register had a very bad attitude. Ice cream: mediocre. I’ve had better for cheaper. My friend threw away 2/3 of his cup because it was so bad and he ended up feeling sick afterwards I really do not understand the hype about this place. I won’t return ever! I want to give them 0 star!
        • Great place! Sweeter service than the ice cream! Can't wait to come there again! Great flavors of ice cream!
        • Had way better ice cream than this one, probably it deserves 3 stars but it had a way to high average for what you get, very limited selection of flavors, nothing to impressive. The portions are not bad, and it did taste fresh, but nothing too special at all, dark chocolate was meh, coconut was ok, pistachio was good
        • Not the best gelato and certainly not the worst but the store is well located, convenient, if in either Old Town or Wenceslas Square. Places to sit. Courteous staff. Clean and busy. Good flavors but not too Italian.
        • Coffee gelato was solid. Not the best I've ever had but definitely good. The staff was also nice which isn't always the case around Prague.
        • Perfect ice cream for the summer! Good flavours and great taste, especially the dark chocolate is recommended! I would definitely go again.
        • Great ice-cream and sorbet. Probably the best in Prague. We were lucky enough to not wait to much. It can get quite busy during summer
        • Delicous ice cream, many exiting flavours, efficient service, no queue on a Thursday evening. Expensive but worth it. Strong recommend!
        • Really awesome, the ice creams were incredibly tasty. They felt really good and clearly home made, it's been a while since I didn't taste such a worth it pistachio flavour!
