        • It is a very imposing sculpt and I myself love the style. I have been inside once and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I really want to come back and do the abseil from the platform this year. There is a nice cafe underneath it for a coffee and cake after the great view from the top.
        • A great sculpture and an even better slide. The wait is quite long but there is a lot to keep you occupied. There is toilets up there (including disabled toilets), so you can go before you try the massive terrifying slide. A great time!
        • I wouldn't recommend visiting the slide or the viewing platform, considering the high price. I had pre-booked tickets for 4:15pm, but upon arrival was told that they were running late and we would get tickets to use the slide for 4:30pm instead. The lockers are outside, so as it was raining heavily we got pretty wet while sorting our belongings out – you're not allowed to take anything onto the slide with you. We joined the queue for the slide at 4:25, and while it didn't look like it would take too long, we ended up being stood in it for over an hour – not worth it for the 30-second experience. It's fine, but certainly not worth £15, nor the long wait. It seemed the slide was far too overbooked and the management of guests was pretty poor. The views from the top of the sculpture were okay – unfortunately we weren't lucky with the weather – but the queue for the slide made the whole experience feel like more of a punishment than a positive experience.
        • It's quite popular, so you'll need to book your slide tickets in advance on the web as they often sell out in advance, especially on weekends. You can walk (a lot of stairs!) or take the lift to the top, with pretty stunning panoramic views. If you suffer from vertigo, you won't enjoy any of this. The slide is great, it looks a bit daunting to begin with, but is genuinely good fun.
        • When I took my slide there last year (2017), the ArcelorMittal Orbit was kind of quiet; of course, we booked the slide beforehand, but I was told that we could get tickets at the box office too. You needed a £1 coin for the deposit of using the lockers, as you could not carry your expensive handbag up onto the slide, and everything was self-served. The observation deck was also quiet, and there installed a distorting mirror that turned the city view upside-down. From there, you could also see the London Aquatic Centre built by the honourable architect Zaha Hadid. The tower was a bit remote from popular landmarks in London, but visiting different neighbourhoods while taking the light rail outskirts was quite a good experience.
