Daytona Beach is the perfect vacation destination for families, couples-everyone who's looking for a great getaway at reasonable prices! With warm temperatures, 23 miles of beaches there is something for everyone. Because Daytona Beach is such a popular venue for many large events throughout the year make sure to plan ahead as lodging can be hard to find at times.
  
  Daytona Beach is packed with tourists going to the beach in the summertime, but because of Florida's great weather, the best time to visit is actually in the fall or spring!
  
  Other than the beach, the people here are very warm and friendly.

  The room was not clean when we got there. We stayed for four nights. On the 3rd day we had them come and clean and they did a horrible job. We were in a smoking room. The ashtrays weren't empty, coffee wasn't replaced, and towels weren't exchanged. There were nightstands with a faux marble top. There was a gap between the marble top and table top that was filled with ash and dust and paper. It was so disgusting. The room was considered an ocean view even though it overlooked the parking lot. Because we could see the ocean over the railing in the parking lot it was considered "ocean view " and cost more. DVD rentals were included with the room and only one of the four DVDs we tried actually worked and wasn't scratched up. They offered free coffee pin the lobby but if you are up before 7 a.m. forget it. The carpet was all buckled and needs to be stretched. The furniture was very outdated and scratched. The only positive I have to say is the shower had great water pressure. I won't mention the tub but you can imagine. The door jamb was all busted out so the door did shut but it wiggled quite a bit and there was a gap on all three sides so the light entered the room at night. The parking lot had no lights or cameras. Good luck if you stay there! Don't get adjoining rooms unless you know your neighbor. Our neighbors introduced themselves at 4 a.m. I believe his name was "oh Annie! Oh Arnie!"

  This was once a very nice place. Maintenance has been spotty, there is a lolly jack in one hall supporting who know what. The rooms were once NICU appointed but seem dated and in need of attention. Prices are reasonable, and as a place to sleep and take day trips from this works exceptionally well. By itself it is not a destination. One of its redeeming qualities is being on the beech. Location is very nice.

  Oceanside Inn is a very well kept hotel. Stag is very friendly and the new parking deck makes things a little easier. It's kind of expensive considering there are no balconies. Though the hotel is handicap accessible there isn't much in the rooms to aid those with disabilities.

  Nice staff. Rooms have good views. However, we had to ask to be moved from our first room that was less than desirable

  We absolutely loved the beach and the pool here. It wasn't too crowded. The waves ad sand were great ad the pool was perfect to relax in after all the boogie boarding. The room was neat and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the beds were hard and not easy to sleep on (not such a big deal since no hotel bed is perfect though). The worst was the bathroom and shower. It was poorly designed, too small, and leaked water on the floor constantly. One nice feature they had was a free DVD rental with your stay. This was a great bonus for us since we have kids. We will probably stay again in spite of the negatives.
