        I have stayed at McGregor Inn Motel or 6 years now for Saratoga track weekend. I always booked my weekend for the next year when I left. I had reservations this year for the weekend of the Jim Dandy weekend already booked last year: I emailed Gail the owner to ask her when she wanted me to send her a deposit for my room, and she stated that she booked a large party that weekend, and she does not have a room for me. What? I booked my room a year ago: ???? She has not answered my emails and she booked out the room that I reserved a year ago: After 6 years of going to this motel , I feel this is not a way to do business. Found another motel much closer and much cheaper: their prices kept going up every year I stayed there, and last year they even had the nerve to charge me $30 for a extra person to stay in my room. I hated to go there every year as the Wife owner always had a attitude and was never friendly with her customers...Also I always felt like on check out day they are always in a hurry to push you out of the room: Out dated rooms, musty smells, and even found a cock roach in the shower: STAY Elsewhere if you can!!!

        a nice small motel for 2 people or more.the rooms are ok there clean they have a refrigerator and a microwave but a 1990s television rusted lamps a Small shower and but the are friendly and the price is pretty good judging that it is next to saratoga national park sugest you should stay there.

        I stayed at the McGregor inn for three months last Spring while in the area for work and loved it. My room was large, clean, and quiet. It is an older motel, but the owners are constantly working on the property, and it is well-kept. I had an issue with the plumbing in my room that was fixed immediately. If you are in the area, it is a good, honest place with honest people. I felt completely at home, and would stay again.
