• Fort Myers

  Fort Myers, population 48,000 plus as of 2000, is the county seat of Lee County, Florida. Established in 1886, it is the gateway to the Southwest Florida region, which is a major tourist destination in Florida. The winter homes of Thomas Edison (Seminole Lodge) and Henry Ford (The Mangoes), which are both primary tourist attractions in the region, are located on McGregor Blvd. in Fort Myers.
  
  On August 13, 2004, Fort Myers was hit hard by Hurricane Charley, a Category 4 hurricane that made landfall north of the area. In 2005, Hurricane Wilma struck south of Naples, but caused extensive damage nonetheless in Fort Myers and its southern suburbs.

  It was an extremely nice hotel. Went to visit my sis in law and the kids while they stayed there. The hotel let us borrow a playpen for the baby to sleep in which I found so nice and convenient. The rooms a suite and get bedrooms are separate from the living room so you can close the door in between to make it private. Surprisingly for being downtown in was really quiet

  Very helpful and friendly staff. Bar on the deck looking at the marina. Walking distance to Edison Ford estates. Clean simple rooms with fridge.

  We had a large amount of our wedding party and guests staying at Legacy Harbour. The staff did a great job and the rooms were clean and large with fantastic views out the back!
