  Las Vegas is America’s real life Sin City. It’s the city where notorious rapper Tupac Shakur met his end in a brutal assassination; a city with a main strip so bright you’ll find yourself wearing shades at night; a city where you can get drunk, and then get married; a city where you can win big, or lose it all.
  
  Take a free class (available at most casinos) on how to beat the dealer at poker, blackjack, roulette, or pretty much any other gambling game you’d like to try your hand at, before hitting the infamous casino floors at Caesar’s Palace, The Bellagio or the MGM Grand. Bet in nickels or notes, or hang off the lever of a one armed bandit and hope luck – or, in the case of poker, a little bit of well-honed skill – sees you go home quits, or even covering your hotel bill.
  
  It’s not all about the casinos, though. Regular fight nights bring world class boxing to the strip and a buzz that is unmatched, while the range of high-class hotels is enormous, and incorporates moments of pure luxury like the perfect rainforest replica (birds and all) that is the Mirage Hotel pool, or the Venetian Hotel’s astonishing spa facilities. Stroll into the more affordable Liberace Museum for a taste of the decadent performances of the great pianist and his extraordinary costumes, or climb the Stratosphere Tower for a soaring view over it all, perhaps strapping yourself into the 160ft reverse bungee jump while you’re there.
  
  Of course, what happens in Vegas, stays fin Vegas, which is probably something worth telling your stomach, after you indulge in culinary delights like deep fried Oreos and supersized shrimp cocktails in the lowbrow buffets, or lap up the free drinks that come with laying down a few chips on the green felt, regardless of your stake.
  
  Then there are the shows (though watch your wallet, they can be seriously pricey), the flights out over the Grand Canyon, and collecting something borrowed and something blue ready for that shotgun wedding. Not much is certain in Vegas, but one thing is: you won’t forget your time in these glowing lights in a hurry.
  
  Every year in June and July there's the world series of poker, a large event held in the Rio resort and casino with the best poker players all over the world. So remember what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Go, and have fun!

• North Las Vegas

  North Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing communities. It's a great palce to visit when you want to get away from the tourist crowds and traffic jams in central Las Vegas. There are a variety of casinos and movie theaters located in this area. There's even a drive-in theater that has double features!!
  
  You can even find an ice skating rink at one of the casinos in North Las Vegas.
  
  North Las Vegas definitely has its diamonds in the rough.

• Henderson

  Henderson is located southeast of Las Vegas. It has malls, parks, great shopping, restaurants and casinos etc. Lake Las Vegas is also located in Henderson.It has some beautiful sites and scenery. Many concerts and festivals are sometimes located in the city of Henderson.

• Boulder City

  Boulder City (NV) is a large town about 20 miles south of Las Vegas, NV, with population of about 15,000. Boulder City began as a town that housed workers building the Hoover Dam from about 1930 to 1940. It is the largest city in Nevada, with a total land area of more than 200 square miles.
  
  Boulder City's major attraction is the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It has one major travel arterial: US 93, that runs east and west through the town.

  Had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at Las Vegas Hostel. Great value for money. I was expecting not many facilities for the price, but it had everything you'd expect from a hostel. Great social areas with free pool table and games. Swimming pool, off street parking for free. Fir breakfast they put out pancake batter and you make your own which was fun. It's a fair way from the strip, so you'll need to drive/bus/taxi to get there. The only other issue was the rooms weren't great and were quite dingy (although they had fridges in them!) But as the social area is good, you don't really need to spend any time in the rooms.

  I stayed for three days and I enjoyed my stay. I don't know what the two stars are for that people are giving it because it's not a terrible place at all. Hostels are for more humble people and if you are high class, stay on the expensive Strip. The area is not a five star area but it's not that bad either. It's just like NY but with less people. Keep to yourself and go where you have to go. If the hostel was to move closer to the Strip, it would be more money then people will complain. You can't require a Hilton experience on a motel budget

  It was an alright experience. I slept in a 8 bunk room. It's pretty much a renovated hotel with more beds in them. It was pretty hot when I was there but I still slept well and nothing was stolen. My room also had lockers for your personal items.

  Was there for 4 nights this past weekend. I gotta say, it was the most pleasant and smooth experience i ever had. I base this rating on customer service, friendliness, parking, and room quality and any other factors not mentioned. Customer service: they all helped me in whatever i needed without being rude or angry. Mat is the most awesome guy i met and he works there. I forgot my bag there once i left home and i called him. He has my bag safe and sound. My advice: get to know the people who work there because they are awesome and you might even hang out with some of them. Friendliness: 5 out of 5, again they helped out and was happy to show me where the amenities are since this was my first time at a hostel. In regards to the people staying there, you get to meet other travelers from around the world. I had a blast because i met travelers from japan and we all ended up drunk lol. My advice, be open to those you meet. Parking: 4 out of 5 because there really isnt much parking space. However it is free. There are around 15 to 20 spaces available. With that being said, out of the total spaces, 10 of them are unsecured and this hostel location is very shady at night. There is no gate protecting these 10 spaces. If you are lucky, you can park in a closed gated area. I was able to park in the close gated area in all the nights. I even came back there every night around 12 am and still had parking which is very good because i drive an Audi Q5 $60,000 car. Room quality: 5 out of 5. I had the private king room. Everything works. Bed is firm, You get a thin blanket, and the a/c and heater functions perfectly. No TV at all. However you wont care about that because you are in vegas lol. Wifi: super fast and free. Night life: there are nearby bars and clubs just a couple blocks away. You can walk there. I recommend Atomic Bar. It has history there and famous movies were filmed there. 5 miles away from the strip. I will definitely come back there again. If you are married and have high standards, dont come. Im married but i came alone so my standards arent high at the time. You get what you pay for, but this was well worth it.

  Inexpensive but you aren't sleeping in a filthy place. I will recommend it any time I have the opportunity and I haven't even used the pool yet! Writing this review for my 2nd stay, both times I've been in the area for Life Is Beautiful festival, which this hostel is located right down the street from. You Can hear the music clear as day!
