        • The gym (both upstairs and downstairs) is way too small for the amount of people who use it. The weight room gets extremely crowded during peak times, and there is almost no floor space for free excercise. Also there seems to be an increasing number of broken equipment which isn't being fixed for several weeks. At other universities (e.g. Nottingham) you pay considerably less, for much better facilities.
        • I've been a member on and off since a student at the university and the opening of this place. Currently working on campus, the Weights room downstairs is far too small and is always crammed at Lunch or Evening 4-7 ish. The staff always seem to be taking on more members without a regard for how sustainable it is or the experience of existing members. It's unlikely I'll renew in future, at a push maybe during the university break as this appears to be the only time when you can get a meaningful workout. It's a shame as I used to love this place once.
        • Affordable for students but could have made the weights lifting section bigger
        • Staff are friendly enough and the cardio room is decent (though the giant window on a sunny day shows a lack of foresight). However the weights room is totally unacceptable. It's far too small and would need doubled in size to be fit for purpose. Not good enough for a top 10 university.
        • State of the art sports complex! Almost every indoor sport under one roof.
        • Lovely place to get your sweat on! I would like more bodyweight equipment for my purposes but that's beyond the point. The staff is very helpful.
        • Good facilities a more expensive than other pools to swim
        • Simple changes to this gym could make it so much better. Weekend opening times are ridiculous, its not like there's not demand, the gym is very overcrowded as it is. They don't seem to listen to feedback, i.e if there's demand for a specific cardio machine and you only have one, replace the machines that no one uses. Around 60% of the time I cannot use the machines I (and everyone else) want to use. The mat area is not big enough and the mats are falling apart, when you're lucky enough to get a mat because its so busy. I managed to go to this gym for 3 years without having trouble with staff members, and now I dread seeing certain staff members because they're so unpleasant. Just because students and staff will go to this gym for convenience, doesn't mean you should provide a terrible service because you can get away with it
