        • You should try the food. Especially, the lamb chops. I know.. lamb chops. Yes the lamb chops were delicious.
        • 2 for 1 happy hour on Fridays from 6 to 9 pm. Great crowd and DJ keeps u dancing.
        • Love this lounge. Amazing vibe, great drinks! Make sure you get $50 in free Lyft credit 🚖💙 by using promo INSTA50
        • Mixed feelings about this place but after recent visits, they have definitely improved their image. Prior to my last visit, there were unprofessional bouncers that used excessive force that would even endanger persons not involved in the altercation. With a few new bouncers, and a more mature crowd ranging from 21 - 30 on average. It felt much more inviting than before. With two levels both alternating between several genres(reggae, reggaeton, hip-hop or soca), it is really good vibes. You can reserve a table in the VIP section or one from the upstairs or the basement level. Word to the wise, unless you have Verizon the basement can be a bit of a dead zone so sorry Snapchatters. Great for a group of friends trying to enjoy themselves and meet new people. HAPPY CLUBBING!!!
        • Pros This place is amazing honestly speaking I had a ball I love how everyone dresses nice YOU MUST WEAR HEELS OR NICE BOOTS LADIES THIS IS NOT A CASUAL DRESS CODE ... MEN YOU CANT WEAR HATS YOU MUST ALSO DRESS NICE BUTTON DOWN SHIRT NICE SHOES OR SNEAKERS (NOT A CAUSAL SETTING) Not only were people so friendly But the music had me on a roll all night They play all types of music From spanish to old school r&b hip hop rap new to old old to new .. it doesn't matter they have it. The drinks are very pricey but before 12am free shots of vodka for ladies after 12am drinks are from 12-30 dollars ... they have hookah that is 40 and so many flavors to choose from I had so much fun I lost my voice from all the singing Saturday night it's turnt up Con It's a mandatory coat check for 4$ you can not walk inside the club without having your coat checked so it's either you have a bag to put your jacket in .. or you have to pay for the coat check And the line gets ridiculously long It gets so packed inside it took about 10 minutes just to make it to the bathroom I say the place needs to be a little bigger But it's decorated very classy and nice But overall 5 stars for this place ï
        • Katra has bad customer service the only way they will treat you good is if your spending lots of money, I ask for a cup of ice and the bartender told me no! then I ask to refill a hookah that one of my fiends finished and the bartender told me no your not getting anything for free, I will never go back to that establishment it's very small and the bartender s are horrible when it come to providing quality service to patrons and this was all at an after work event.
        • Been going here for many years. Live the food. Usually nice wait staff. Live Dj are on point.
        • Way too crowded and the staff were rude. Overall the party and music was great would've enjoyed it more without people stepping all over me
        • Great DJ on Fridays. He played nonstop classic Hiphop and R&B. Beware of the mandatory $5 coat check though.
        • Awesome Moroccan-themed lounge. The food was delicious and the cocktails were great. Music was perfect. The waitress was prompt and very pleasant.
        • Love the place and the music was so good. I really enjoyed myself and will be back
        • It was a horrible experience. Everyone there were rude and unprofessional. ThE guy at the door was rude as hell with no manners. You only get treated nice if you pay $700 bottle service. Even the Manager was rude. He came and turned the television off in our face. I will never go there again.
        • Nice atmosphere and decor. Signature drinks are better than classic mixed drinks. Go for the Katra punch!
        • Amazing customer service! We walked into a gorgeous multi level area with excellent space management, and we had excellent customer service on Sunday afternoon. There was a small disagreement that was handled with an extremely high level of professionalism and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a high-end establishment for after work relaxation.
        • A great place to hangout after work. Good food and great music.
        • Beautiful multi level space with EXCELLENT customer service the Friday after work happy hour #1 in NYC.
        • Great food. Great music. I loved it
        • Great music, great food, a little expensive, but would suggest to anyone.
        • Great food strong drinks music lit!
        • Had an AMAZING!!! Time at Katra Lounge. A big Thank you to Ted Lover for making my husband's 51st Birthday an Epic an Memorable Event. A shout out to Crystal the best hostess. ❤👌A big thank you to Ra 😘
        • Cool spot for happy hour...oh and top shelf drinks are 2 for 1. Nice cozy place for after work or for planning an event
        • Attentive bar tenders great music amazing hostess service
        • Live spot with good music! They serve food and the drinks are great. They also have hookah. Smaller scale but 2 levels. You can call to reserve a cabana or VIP for birthdays, etc.
        • Music is great, drinks are great. Staff is friendly. Gets a little overcrowded sometimes though And they take your chair after a certain time which kind of sucks when you wearing high heels.. Food is good and the crowd is pretty friendly. I've been here a few times and I will definitely go back.
        • It was first time being at Katra. The place is nice. It's smaller than Taj II however, the main floor is set up similar. The nice part is that it's a two level place. The bartenders were pleasant. You can smoke hookah. The music was good. I can't comment on how good the food is cause I haven't eaten there yet. This is a place I can see myself coming back to in the future.
        • I signed up for their free drink promo from 11pm to 12pm and when I went to the bar they told me no free drinks. After standing outside in the rain from 11 pm to 11:30pm when the door should of been opened at 11 I Was lead to to coat check where they charge 5 dollars. I had a coat and a sweater underneath and they wanted to charge me double, 5 for my coat and another 5 for my sweater. This is the worst experience at a lounge I ever had. On top of that there is no where to sit. The seats are reserved for people who buy bottles. The workers don't have manners. Their promo was false. I don't recommend anyone after 12am to pay to go in.
        • My family and I had a blast. The energy, music, and ambiance is FIRE🔥. I can't wait to visit New York again to have such a great time. The food is A+++!
        • I had a blast at Katra! The music was great, there were 2 dance floors to choose from. It was spacious. And the 2 for one cocktails were great.
        • Pros: Great DJ, not too crowded, nice people. Con: Did not like that we had to stand in line for 45 minutes in 30 degree weather to get in, this place was highly recommended so we waited it out. Although not sure if I could feel my feet once inside. There should be a quicker line for women.
        • Hella overpriced drinks. Long line. Awesome music. Confrontational crowd. Discriminant bouncers. Free for ladies. Cheap coat check. Not my fave place but it's not bad either. Great for couples, groups, or singles
        • Worst place to go to in NYC. Happy hour drinks are price at regular price and not discounted. The price of the drinks are not listed anywhere. The drinks were horrible and water down. Rude and Deceiving staff. Tips is automatically added for a party of two people. Very strange and a big rip off!! The food taste nasty. The place is tiny and over crowded. I spent the whole night begging for a cup of water. I went there for happy hour with my sister and spent $175 on 1 plate of finger food and a few drinks. STAY AWAY!! THE BIGGEST RIP OFF SPOT IN NYC. There’s a reason they have such a low rating. YOU BEEN WARN!!!
        • Great hip hop and R&B lounge. Its had 2 floors. Not a very big place so gets packed. But the music and DJ are great! Been here at least 7 times in the least few years and always a good time.
        • All i can say is "FUN...FUN...FUN! Thank you to the waitress that served my soul sista and i... you were great! Also thanks to the game player's of "Jenga" and "Connect 4" .... Great game! Music is awesome! Thanks to the friendly D.J whom took my request! Stop in and you too will have...... "FUN".... "FUN"....FUN!!!
        • Went here for my birthday and loved it! It does get a hit crowded but it's a club so, that's the norm. The DJs were great! They played your more recent hip hop/r&b hits and classics. They catered to us Islanders, along with playing some African/Nigerian hits also. Had the best time & plan to go again next time I'm back home & going out in the NYC area.
        • Very Nice place when it's not so Over crowded. And they need to fix or turn up the Air condition when it is that Busy. But it was an Ok experience. I see why people come early stay late. $25 if u didn't get there before 11pm. Then at 4am...It's Everyone Get Out! You have 5-15 minutes to exit before it gets Rough lol.
        • A tad too expensive for bottle service but great music, good food, and definitely a medium sized lounge space. They have an additional basement floor that is sometimes open as well as the main on certain nights. the VIP section is small but sufficient.
        • Cool spot. Upstairs and Downstairs play different vibe of music. Thursday game night are fun as well
        • Great vibes on Tuesdays with the weekly kompa nights. The cocktails are delicious and bartenders nice. There was no fee at the entrance and no specific dress code although most ladies were dressed nicely and were wearing heels.
        • First, As per a flyer on Twitter, I called to be put on the guest list and waive the overpriced cover charge. Someone called me back to confirm my reservation. When I got there I was told to come back at 11. When I came back at 11 they charged me $20 to get in. When I said I called prior they asked for an email which I never received or told was needed. Second, I came with my boyfriend and they made him wait 10 minutes because they let to many guys in prior. So I had to wait in a corner just for him to get in. So if you want a night out with your man make sure you're not behind single guys trying to mingle or your man will be left waiting. It's not about the cost because at the end of it I paid it. It's more the principal of false advertising and overall experience that merited the two stars.
        • The atmosphere is great with a lounge feel. The DJ & Music kept us dancing all night mixing a blend of old school reggae, hip hop & R&B hits with some new joints. The food & drinks are EXCELLENT. Great place to go with your friends or after work.
