LibertyvilleGot to love this place for its heart welcoming community. Lots of random things to do with family or friends. I seen lots of restaurants, stores, and trails to walk or run. Located here is the forest preserve Independence Grove, which is one of the main attractions. The next town over has the huge mall, which is not a far drive. Came for graduation and wanted to be close. This was easy to find and one mile from the base! The room was very clean and I had what I needed. This is an older motel so don't expect the moon, the bed was comfy, the a/c worked well and the front desk person was VERY nice! I was traveling by myself and I don't need much!! For the $, I would stay again! My ex stayed at another hotel and didn't get good sleep from all the noise in the hallway. This was very quiet and I had a great night's sleep!!

For what it is and what it costs, it's exactly what one would expect. It's an inexpensive motel. It's not fancy. The towels could be used to sand wood. But, it's a place to lay your head if you don't have much bread.

Upon check-in we were welcomed by the owners who are a pleasantly accommodating, and helpful, host & hostess at their Great Lakes Motel. We enjoyed our three-night stay in a comfortable, clean, king, room. The location is Great! Close to Navy Station, Flanagan's restaurant we liked just next door, a Speedway station next door to the south, for a.m. newspaper, coffee, donuts, etc., and the cost was affordable for us too!

The room didn't have a microwave or fridge, you can't connect to the so called free WiFi. The was no ice machine. It is not worth the price.
