  It's hard to picture a city more iconic than Paris. With an astounding collective love of art, architecture and good old fashioned romance - as well as a heady new rap scene - the city has so many dimensions that you're going to have to prioritize. Luckily for you, you'd have to make a real effort not to see something a bit more special than your everyday city. The French capital is intellectual and classy, home to arguably the world’s most prestigious cuisine, and spattered liberally with instantly recognizable landmarks and strikingly memorable sites.
  
  The Eiffel Tower (and it’s heady restaurant) and Notre Dame have been at the center of so many pieces of writing it seems almost superfluous to describe them; just go. That’s far from your lot, though. The newer museums like the Musee de Quai Branly, where you’ll find indigenous relics and a café with great Eiffel Tower views, or the Sainte Chapelle and its fantastic stained glass, widely regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful churches.
  
  The twin, contrasting banks of the Seine (and the chance to dance and snack your way along them) are almost as notorious as the surrounding architecture. The astounding cruise along the river offers a real taste of what it is to be Parisian.
  
  Sample the snails and frogs' legs, but don’t disregard the nearly raw steak, freshly cooked baguettes and phenomenal selection of high-class wines, either.
  
  Of course, Paris is known for being a tad pretentious, and you might find that waiters and hotel staff are not quite as helpful as you would expect. You’ll soon be laughing about it, though: this phenomenon is so French it’s painful, and will stick amongst the memories of your holiday as much as the guy in the side street wearing a striped shirt with garlic draped around his neck, or the artist in a lopsided hat gently sketching the Moulin Rouge. Get in amongst the Pompidou Centre for that intense cultural glance, or drift around The Marals at night and enjoy the wine-heavy, very Parisian nightlife.
  
  It’s all very edgy, and if you have any artistic leanings whatsoever you’ll be in your element, not to mention the colossal draw for food lovers. Peruse the sites, explore the equally compulsive back streets, and go home wishing that your hometown had this much intense, unforgettable class.

  Usual selection of typical foods available in France, and suitable for the tourist visitors to this place.

  I stayed in the generator Paris hostel when I got to Paris and also when I left. I stayed in the 8 person dorms and they are spacious and the extra showers on every floor help. I wish that the laundry machines weren't broken; I thought they would have fixed them by the time I had returned (approximately 10 days between each stay). The people were really nice and helpful. I talked to the bartenders and asked them about the best places to eat at and they were super helpful!! I became friends with everyone I stayed with and I still talk to them 6 months later! Hostels are definitely what you make them and I am now a hotel to hostel convert!!! I loved how social everyone was.

  A great cheaper options for travellers in a budget, considering everywhere else in Paris is much more expensive. Considering this is the most expensive hostel I’ve ever been in I had high expectations. Stayed in a mixed 10 bed dorm. This was fine, beds were comfy but squeaky, and there is plugs (both plug and USB) as well as lights in every bunk. Reception is 24 hr so be ready for people to come in at all hours of the night. Seemed to be a place for big groups of people travelling together, so as a solo female traveller I didn’t find it to be a very social experience. The bar downstairs is a very nice place to relax after the day with a beer. They also have food you can order here, also very over priced and low quality. Kitchen closes at 10pm. The patio upstairs has incredible views of the city and would be lovely in the summer, in the winter is was still open to view but the bar was closed. Overall, would recommend if looking for a cheaper place! Very clean and perfectly adequate to most needs!

  I have spent 2 nights with my 10 year daughter in a private room with bathroom ensuite. It has been the best choice I could have done. Really cool decorated, clean and very friendly staff. All well organized and the food in the restaurant and the breakfast very good too and at affordable prices. We will definitely go back.

  Nice clean beddings and restroom. Very trendy exteriors and interior design. It is in a more local area with other apartments and a park in the back. Only con would be that it can be a bit further (20 + min public transportation from the tourists spots)

  This hostel is the chic-est hostel I've ever been to. First, it feels like a modern 5 star hotel. Second, they have a ton of amenities. Their bar is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat or a nice drink. The bartender Luca is literally the nicest and funniest guy around. He's made my stay here so far. They have a pretty sweet breakfast deal. Their second floor lounge is very chill - a good place to do work (like I have to). Also their rooftop bar is beautiful but it closes early. Third, so far the people I've met have been friendly. For such a large hostel it's fairly easy to meet cool people. The bars are great places to mingle. The one thing I'm disappointed about is the lack of a fridge or kitchen to prepare food yourself (and the outright ban on storing food in your room). As I'm a budget traveler it would have been nice to stock up on some fruits and veggies to snack on. Really great place! I highly recommend.
