As well as a destination in its own right, Glasgow is a great gateway to the west of Scotland, and Loch Lomand easily doable. There are plenty of impressive castles in the surrounding countryside. Also easy to visit the local distilleries at Auchentoshan & Glengoyne.

Lovely setting with a beautiful view of the loch from the dining area. Very nice and cozy inside. Family friendly with lots of kids around. The food was tasty and filling though seemed to be a bit hit and miss - I had some delicious haddock but the lasagna ordered by my friend was around 95% meat without very much cheese or sauce.

Great view of Loch Lomond. Food always good. Very cozy. Lovely coffee shop if just looking for a snack..

Had a coffee and strawberry tart in the lounge area. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Tart was awesome.

Fantastic scenery, great food in the Loch-side restaurant. Fantastic for all the family. My fiancée and I visit every time we travel up to see her parents and are yet to be disappointed.

Service was great and the food was even better all for a good price. Definitely will be back!
