Redondo BeachThis is a beach community along the southern California coastline. The Pacific ocean is the western neighbor and thus there are many surfing beaches, even though the waves are not very big. Summer temperatures are generally into the eighties daytime and fifties in the evening with a breeze off the ocean beginning in mid afternoon. Winter temperatures drop to only the forties and fifties daytime and the mid forties in the evening.
Pacific Coast Highway runs through Redondo Beach. Housing costs are quite high in this beach community and especially near the beach you will find multi-story apartments and condominiums. The main parts of town are old by California standards, being built in the early 20th century. You will find this to be mainly a residential community.
Redondo Beach has a wonderful pier to enjoy walking, fishing or just people watching. Best part of the pier, it's not the normal straight out into the water pier. It triangles with restaurants situated on the pier. It also has an arcade... but the best part of this pier is during crab season when you can purchase crabs or lobsters from the dozens of tanks and just pig out!!Redondo Beach, CA, USA -

The neighborhood isnt the prettiest, but the rooms are great, clean, look newly renovated, and the price is great. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The manager was also accomodating when a mixup occurred with our initial reservation.

I have stayed there 5 nights. This hotel is good given the low price. Inglewood is not really a good neighborhood but there is a closed court that kind of makes it safe. I had no problems at all. Rooms are spacious and there is a small parking in the court. So, it's better to not come back too late to be sure to park your car. Otherwise, parking outside does not look safe. The location can be interesting. LAX airport is close, as well as many highways. Santa Monica, Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland Resort are equidistant (30 min - 1h depending of the traffic). I suggest not walking outside the hotel, just sleep and use your car to travel to your destination. It's not really a place to stay with your family or girlfriend but as a single traveler, it can be appropriate.

The staff are ass holes. They charged me one rate. Then I ask wifi they told me I owe $15 more. Never going back. Loud all night couldn't sleep and bed bugs
