        • Beautiful new living wall and foliage between the tracks. Station was redesigned by Ian Simpson (Beetham Tower architect) and better access for those with mobility issues. A short cut from Windmill Street makes it easier to get to from Oxford Street. New steps avoid the Deansgate Locks crowd in the evening which is a bonus. Sometimes hard to work out what platform your tram home is going to leave from though.
        • This refurbished station is great; spacious and beautiful with more plants and shrubbery throughout. The shelter design is rather poor as it won't properly keep the weather out especially if there's any gust of wind.
        • Nice refurbishment with grass between the tracks
        • Modern with pages from history.
        • An odd station with a great tram links (across a new bridge) and a beautiful tilled internal area. However it's a station of walkways, with unforgiving platforms on a winters day and lots of trains whooshing by as they by-pass this non-priority station. It's a not of Manchester's biggest, either in terms of services or square footage, but it has some lovely internal architecture and some good bars nearby.
