        • Maximum security airport. Not good place for first time flyers. First time I removed my shoes for inspection before boarding the airbus. Facilities are casual and nothing new. Overpriced food stalls. Air-conditioning systems is always off or low. Looking forward for improvements and a real Bacolod Smile on the staffs
        • Because im a bacolortanon(bacolod-la carlota is my home
        • I like ot best its clean and eco-friendly.. ...so very nice
        • Very filthy airport the floors are not clean, sticky and dirty, flies and cookroaches rampant, the aircon is off, the walls in very bad shape. This is a very filthy small airport. The food is over priced and very low quality.
        • One of the great airport I've visited so far.
        • Be aware there is a 200 php terminal fee at this airport, very small over crowded terminal very dirty bathroom strong smell of urine, the gate areas is way over crowded, waiting area does not have enough seat for everyone to sit, and there is 6 gate agent for one gate everything is so disorganize.
        • this airport is a complete waste of time, it is basically in the middle of sugar cane fields and too far away from bacolod to be of any real value, you are well over-charged to get to the airport via 'taxi vans' from the nearest city ( the only public transport availble to get there) and over 30 mins drive away from the actual city of bacolod, service is a joke and while they have things like a prayer room, to smoke in the building you have to pay a resturant for using it, toilets are dirty and staff are either joking amongst themselves or on their phones instead of being helpful, had my secretary phone the main office to enquire if they had long stay parking but after 2hrs of ringing she got no answer at all, and this was a week day!! i did have plans to set up my business in negros occidental but if this is the only way to get in and out of the place then will move it to cebu,

        • Really wrong airport to choose to fly from. Just never use it and spare yourself the disappointment.
        • Improve the cleanliness of the surroundings esp the restrooms not just for locals but also for the tourist, its a way to start their impression so make it right! 😉
        • Try to avoid taking the last flight of the day to this airport. Our flight was delayed by an hour, when we arrived, we got our bags and went straight out. The transportation points in the carpark were already closed, one taxi offered an insanely high rate which he refused to negotiate, no Grab available etc. At that point, 10pm, everything is closed. One vending machine is all you have left. People are sleeping on the walls, waiting for morning. Luckily we had someone to call on for assistance, but, they couldn't actually get to us as the road into the airport was closed already, requiring walking down the entrance road with luggage and being let through by the guard. If we'd known they had closed off the road, we could have potentially got away sooner as there are occasionally taxis that stop by on the off chance of a pickup. Pretty much the worst arrival experience I've had anywhere, especially traveling with young kids.
        • Gateway to the Negros Island. At the arrival area there is Duty Free and Emperador Shop. There is a public shuttle van at 150/head going to the city. If you have a Grab account you might want to consider taking grab taxi or grab car.
        • Quite Airport in Negros but usually flights delay.. Please make sure there is enough time if you have connecting flight in Manila
        • The new airport has outgrown its intended capacity. While it is way better than the old airport in Singcang, it has shown the signs of wear and tear, after a decade of serving the Negrenses. On mornings and late afternoons, the airport's pre-departure lounge can be very crowded--to the point that you don't have seats left. It can become a bit warm and humid due to the tight space that it has, despite having a couple of cafés. The space is just too tight for a growing airport! On the other hand, the airport is accessible from Bacolod through taxi, Grab, or shuttle service, and even utility vans and tricycles from downtown Silay. One compensation for its tight space is the beautiful scenery of sugar plantations and volcanoes on the background.
        • No traffic on the way to this airport. Quiet relaxing. With wifi internet access.
        • Be warn. This place is far from the main road and access for cheaper cost of transportation is not an option. I was charged for 300 pesos from airport to Go hotel at Lacson st. Taxis here don't use there meters. They charge you as much as they want. Then from Go hotel to airport I was charge 500 pesos. I thought the arrival was too much I was wrong the departure was worst.
        • Bacolod-Silay Airport Hulugpaan sang Bacolod-Silay
        • From Bacolod, take the access road for fast and easy travel
        • Got parking area at P40 per entry. Inside departure area is a small playhouse for your kids to have fun while waiting.
        • Staff in the airport are very friendly. No stress getting into your flight.
        • It has good wifi connection.
        • Update, March 2018 the airport is so small, bagage carts if you find one it is broken, Very small over crowded terminal very dirty bathroom strong smell of urine, the gate areas is way over crowded, waiting area does not have enough seat for everyone to sit, and there is 6 gate agent for one gate everything is so disorganize.
        • aircon is weak, toilet need improve, food choice too few. fortunately all the staff and crew are friendly. truly city of smile!
        • Just a really small airport. Not much to see, but service is good. There is one restaurant (forgot the name) that served a really small quantity of pasta for 125 pesos. It's an "ok" airport.
        • The airport is clean. However, their toddler nook seems so lonely. Only a few toys( broken ones even) are displayed outside for playing whereas inside the breastfeeding room, tons of toys are piled up, unaccessible. The staff arent so happy and accomodating, they talk so loudly even if they know that a mother is trying to breastfeed. In my experience, my baby wasnt able to concentrate on drinking. Sadly, this is a pity for mothers and children who want to wait for their flight. 2018 Their playroom is even becoming worse. I travel a lot always and this playarea is the worst among the airports.Just a baby slide, a broken rocker and a pushwalker.
        • Good thing there's free water at the boarding gates and near to pasalubong shops like Merci and Bongbong's. The waiting area was pretty warm in ventilation and narrow.
        • there is a smoking area at 2f in deperture area. but u have to buy something at coffee shop.
        • 4 stars for the satisfaction and convenience inside the airport. 1 star left for the improvement. Expansion.
        • If you are flying out it is fine, but if you are picking up a visitor, it is terrible, no entry to the terminal unless you are flying out, that is OK but no seats outside in the arrival area, a garden wall to sit on which has water leaking through the roof onto it, charming. There are no announcements and no arrival or departure information available outside, pathetic.
        • The airport and its services are good. Looking forward for future improvements like City-Airport P2P buses, more chairs at the departure area, etc.
        • I GIVE SILAY AIRPORT A 5 STAR AIRPORT BUT IT NEED TO IMPROVE ITS AIRCONDITIONING AND IMPROVE MORE TAXIWAYS AND RUNWAY HAS TO BE LIKE 3.15KM. IF THIS AIRPORT IS AN 5 STAR AIRPORT IT WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST VISAYAN AIRPORT I EVER HAD IN HOME COUNTRY.
        • Huge area for development. No buses to cater arriving passengers from the airplane. Overall, its clean, have a few stores and no development sorrounding the area. Taxi fare to Bacolod is around P400/$8.
