  Check out the infamous 40ft sign propped up above it all. Check out the local burger bar and hang out with all the waiters – sorry, actors – at a pool party, talking celebrities between each sip and trying to weasel your way into a blockbuster. Go home no more famous than when you arrived, but somehow still feeling like a superstar.
  
  True, Hollywood is arguably the most shallow and celebrity focused stretch of land in the entire world (though certain corners of Mumbai might beg to differ), but it’s also one of the most inspiring corners of the states, with a night out on Sunset Boulevard or star spotting down Hollywood Boulevard in the blazing sunlight feeling somehow more special than a night out anywhere else. There’s a palpable sense of excitement about the place, with everything from legends like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Motley Crue to drag acts and celebrity focused drug dealers focusing their life around Hollywood’s three main thoroughfares.
  
  Aside from watching the filming of occasional TV shows, there’s plenty else to do in the Hollywood area: drift down the Walk of Fame, drop in on the wax museum or catch a future star at the infamous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Step away from celebrity and indulge in a bit of science, with the Griffith Park Observatory, or go star spotting amongst the mansions of Mulholland Drive.
  
  Of course, downtown LA, the beaches and Universal City are all a mere stones throw away from central Hollywood, and you’d be mad not to incorporate the super city into any trip, too. Bikini clad beaches, manic parties, rock and roll and money, money, money are all just part of the experience.
  
  Many come here with nothing in mind but fame, while others come just to get their own taste of how the other side lives. Whatever your reasons, you’re sure to enjoy your moment somewhere near the spotlight, and come away dreaming of a Hollywood life.

  This place was very nice. The location is not the best but it seems this part of LA is up and coming with trendy hipster joints. I notice a lot of hippie like people that are fond of art. The coffee is ok but I really enjoyed the food and pastries they offer. This place is good for those people that like organic food. Highly recommend this spot.

  Lovely atmosphere, efficient and friendly staff, amazing food and coffee. It gets pretty hectic around lunch time, so make sure you head in early. I would have given this place a 5 if it had better parking. Great place overall, though!

  Fast service! Competitive prices lid of options, friendly staff that are delighted to assist. Serve yourself water stations today's selections are strawberry like and orange pineapple so yummy.

  This place is the hype! lots of that busy LA eatery feel. I like the relaxing colors, decor and the hustle and bustle of the staff make for a vibrant experience. The food was also excellent.

  The desserts are very good. Earl Grey cheesecake is not too sweet. It's a very popular place for people to hang out too. They will run out of desserts if you come too late.

  I've been to Urth Caffé twice now, and seriously, they are so underwhelming. Why are they so popular? I have been unimpressed with the food and service both times. They are just in such a rush and in the process come off as curt and rude. They always seem to forget something with my order. This time, they didn't give me my whole order and couldn't figure out what else I had. The food itself is good, but not in any way remarkable. SO OVERPRICED. Meager portions, unimpressive quality. The cafe mocha granita was quite good, I'll give them that. Does everyone just come here to sip the coffee? They do advertise and tout all over the restaurant how wonderful and amazing their coffee beans are, with only "seven farms providing the quality" that meets their "strict standards". *Rolls Eyes* Very hipster restaurant = overpriced and underwhelming.

  Lots of great organic menu items. Had the Greek salad and green tea. Both were delicious. You order you food and then they bring it to your table. Great atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating.
