Exceeded our expectations!! All of The Avalon staff from Lawrence when we arrived and took our bags to Christina who checked us in and followed up with us, Itze who promptly brought us more hangers, Harrison who was our server for dinner that provided the best service, recommendations and conversation,and Chef Jason who prepared the absolute best chicken and steak tender enough to cut with a spoon, and amazing flavor, and then to top it off the Honey Toast dessert was AMAZING too! Joseph the restaurant manager also came to check on us and make sure that we were happy with our service and food . All we can say is WOW!! The Avalon and Chi Chi are doing it right and you can tell their team loves what they do and the team has a heart of service! Kudos to you all! We will be back and refer our friends to visit you all as well! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our favorite place!!!

The pool was great and being able to eat outside was nice depending on the heat.. the service good but the food was just ok, the price was a little heavy and the food could have been more Flavorful

Good morning. I had my first dinner and drinks there last night, and I need to tell you I was disappointed. I expected more of everything. The only thing that was perfect was the staff. Your manhattans are way over priced for the drink. I guess Tropicale has spoiled me. The starter was the best part of the meal. The peta, vegetables, and dips were really good. We had salads, I ordered the Ahi Nicoise, it interested me that it had a egg on it. The Ahi was perfect, the beans and the rest of the salad were dull and boring. Their was no egg. I do not feel we got our monies worth, we will not recommend it to our friends. Dianna Smith
