• Jackson

  Jackson is located in the northwest corner of the state of Wyoming. Jackson is high altitude community sitting at approximately the 6500' level. Jackson is the gateway for the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks and the National Elk Refuge.
  
  In the winters skiers and snowmobilers flock to ski Jackson Hole and snowmobile the countless backcountry trails. Because of it's high altitude, Jackson enjoys mild summers but very cold winters and at times can be one of the coldest places in the lower 48 states.
  
  Jackson is also a historical town that would best be described as 'Old West' due to its old square western themed buildings still present and in use. These architecture provides a romantic and historic view of the way the city used to be.

• Wilson

  Wilson is a small town in northwestern Wyoming with a population of roughly 1300. It is part of Teton County and the larger Jackson Hole community. Famous for its natural beauty and low tax rates, Wilson is a popular local for outdoorsmen and wealthy second-home owners alike. Nestled at the base of the Teton range, Wilson offers some spectacular views of the Tetons and the famous Snake River. Wilson is in close proximity to Teton Village and the world-renowned Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park are in close proximity to Wilson. As a result, Wilson is an incredibly popular tourist destination both in summer and winter.

  We came for a weekend retreat and we’re impressed by this lodge. The rooms are spacious, with many hooks, and large bathroom. Heated tile, reasonably comfy bed, blue throw blankets comfortable and not scratchy. Quiet space, complimentary drinks in main lodge. Overall pleasant.

  The location is perfect. It's easy walking distance to the center of town (less than 5 minutes) where you can find tons of shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and had a lot of options. The staff was friendly. Our room was in a building not connected to the main hotel. It was more like an old school motel. This part had no elevator so if this is a problem for you I'd suggest asking to be part of the main building. It had a microwave, mini fridge, and a Keurig type coffee maker. I would recommend this hotel for those coming to Jackson.

  Pretty decent hotel. Clean and comfortable amenities with great breakfast. One star off five because if you choose downstairs room it could be quite noisy if someone is in the room upstairs.

  The section of the property we stayed in, was detached from the actual hotel. So I considered that area a motel. However when I think of motel, I think of an old, musty, ran down and outdated place. Lexington was not like that at all! The rooms were updated with nice decor. They had what I am always in need of. Which is a microwave and refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. Pillows and towels were nice. I loved the vanity area and the shower. I was always curious to know if the heated tile was even working. But when I got home, and compared it to mine, it definitely was. Housekeeping comes way too early, so use your go away sign. The only thing I cared for at the breakfast was their puff pastries. They could probably jump on the band wagon when it comes to individual milk, yogurts, etc. It was a pretty congested area as well. The cookies were a definite plus for us. The pool was small. But we knew it was going to be. The website states it. My family would definitely stay there again.

  I stay here every time I'm in Jackson. Comfortable, spacious rooms with finer amenities, located right downtown. The free breakfast in the morning is also far better than most free hotel breakfasts, and helps me avoid waiting in the ludicrously long lines for Jackson's plentiful but mediocre breakfast places. Staff is always helpful and friendly, and rates are among the lowest in town by a significant margin. The heated tile floors in the rooms and bicycles to borrow are unexpected nice touches as well. Love it here.
