        • We popped in to this tiny bakery only to find a sumptuous dining place for breakfast. Every little detail adds to its French ambiance. The coffee and hot chocolate were a delicious beginning to a feast of impeccable brioche French toast, chocolate waffle, and soft boiled eggs served with a large array of sliced breads. The food is really wonderful; my dining partner saying it was the best he has ever eaten. Our waitress, Yasmine R., was so nice, adding to our very pleasant dining experience. We will be back.
        • I left my credit card and had to return. I parked illegally as I expected to just run in. When I went in the server I had (who was very helpful) said his manager left with it and was moving her car. He even offered to bring it out to me so I wouldn't get a ticket. Very kind. Manager took about 20 minutes to move her car and get back with my card...I even had called to say I was coming. Situation could have been handled much better.
        • Came here for a quick brunch with my family. We were all really happy with our food choices- sandwiches, smoothies, and coffee were all great. Service was fantastic. I loved the seating area- we chose the large communal table, but there are separate smaller tables available as well. I loved my cappuccino and smoothie so much that I came back again the next day. Highly recommend.
        • Went for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The food was tremendous, the staff attentive and the setting fantastic.
        • nice atmosphere and pastries. Love the Coconut Macaroons.
        • Nice chill vibe w ample seating, good food options, and great pastries. Outdoor patio seating out back for when the weather is nice.
        • Called in on passing for brunch. Very impressed with the menu, decor, and staff. Can't fault it.
        • Your usual chain coffee place. The servers at this one seemed a bit scattered. The coffee was allright and the food acceptable. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there but it's a good place to stop in a pinch.
        • Went there on a Sunday, my friend and I (both easy going young professionals) waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive (porridge, fruit, a baguette and a side of salmon!). The waiter finally brought my baguette and let me know (after 30 minutes wait) that they were out of salmon! The person sitting a table away from us, who had arrived 15 minutes later had her food brought out to her at the same time. Ordered a drink, waiter had to come back to ask again what drink it was (Cappuccino...). Brought the bill, was another table's bill. To the waiter's defense, waiter was running around like crazy trying to serve and clear away a great number of tables whilst many other waiters were just hanging around the till chatting. Nevertheless, waiter seemed half-concerned and rather smirky about what was going on, only said sorry when bringing the bill. Needless to say, waiter was not tipped (my first time in 8 months in the US). There was a big management problem that lunchtime. I believe another manager stepped in at that point (with a red pullover) and things started moving. Looked for him on the way out, but didn't see him and didn't want to waste anymore time in this place.
        • This is my third time in the same location and I still suffer with the service. It's the SLOWEST service I've ever experienced. I gave out 2 stars because the food is great actually
        • The staff is very friendly and helpful. Top-notch customer service. The French roll was good. On a hot day, the bottled water was very cold and appreciated!
        • Love this place. The garden its filled with sparrows trying to eat crumbs off the ground. Lovely. ❤
        • Everything about this place was amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the staff, it was all great! Everyone was friendly and the food is hands down delicious. Give this a try!
        • The food was amazing! The wait staff was extremely friendly. The down side was that it was extremely pricey for the portion you get. This is starting to become a trend in D.C. 😕
        • You'll be paying for something completely different than what you thought you were paying. For example, an Avocado add on is listed as $2.00 will magically become $4.10 on the check. When I asked them for correction (and whether they have charged all customers who ordered an avocado twice the price---they have) they somehow deducted $0.20 off from the initial error (so this was an error too!). Hope they fix that magical avocado button (that was their excuse) that register as $4.10 instead of the listed $2.00!!!
        • Everyone greets you with such a warm good morning! Very friendly staff! Of course the delicious smell of coffee all over! Totally loved the place 💕 Thank you all for the great time!
        • Airy, light wood, French country cafe feel. Casual, friendly. We sat at a large central communal table and enjoyed an excellent Croque Monsignor with a salad, and an equally delicious Breakfast Salad. The portions were large, and the prices were reasonable. The pastries looked excellent.
        • So there are some lovely staff here. However there is no passion and no soul in the food. It’s pumped out to order with little flair and no flavour. Knowing that there is a butter shortage in France shouldn’t prevent providing a little for breakfast here.
        • Great setting and great food! Glad I stumbled across this place on my last day as I hadn’t found a good breakfast yet in DC. The avocado on toast with salmon and eggs was just what I’d been craving.
        • My chez away from chez! Love the menu, everything is delicious -- absolutely order the cripsy quinoa cake!
        • Good tea and pastries. The jams and hazelnut spread were so good! The bread was cold, which we were not expecting, and the servers were not that attentive or helpful. It took longer than we expected to get our food, especially considering we only ordered pastries, bread, and drinks.
        • For the price, I'd expect either better food or better service. There's nothing particular spectacular about the food, maybe slightly above average for a brunch spot. The service was also very slow for both brunches I had there - probably not the best place to sit down and eat if you're in a hurry. I had the baker's breakfast once and a scramble the other time. Nothing to complain about in regards to the food, but like I mentioned before, nothing extraordinary.
        • I honestly do not understand the appeal of this place. The prices are ridiculous, the style is pretentious, and the food is sorely lacking. Everything is meticulously designed to give the veneer of farm-fresh quality, but once you have the actual food in front of you, it's clear that it's just the same crappy food you can get from a mid-level deli, dressed up with an avocado and an extra $5 on the bill. Take the chicken soup. First of all, it cost me $11 with tax. For chicken soup. Second, the pieces of chicken were scrawny, misshapen, tasteless lumps that looked like the gristle left over after someone has gnawed on a fried chicken leg. And to top it off -- instead of noodles, they put quinoa. Because nothing makes a satisfying soup like hundreds of tiny semi-hard nuggets. It's like putting sand in your soup. It's like the driving question behind every decision they make is: "what is the most cynical way we can take advantage of Americans' naivete about food and quality"? Stupid French name? Check. Fad foods that aren't actually any good (looking at you, QUINOA)? Check. Put-upon fake bakery that doesn't actually bake anything? Check Avoiding drinks people actually want (like Diet Coke) for some dressed-up, overpriced, flavorless tea concoction? Check Seriously. What a train wreck. PS: It gets two stars, not one, because the service was actually pretty good.
        • Cold Saturday in January. Stopped in for coffee, soup and a pastry. FANTASTIC food and service.
        • The atmosphere of this place is really cool. Very unique decor and menu. My friend who goes to Georgetown University brought my girlfriend and I here for brunch and it was great food. A little pricey to be honest but that’s the nature of the city/DC. The food, service, and restaurant itself were all good quality, justifying the price of the dishes. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll remember that French named restaurant was good!
        • Healthy and interesting menu. Ate here 3 times in our short 3 day visit because we liked it so much. Chicken zoodle soup was perfect for the cold day.
        • Great food! You can go healthy or not if you want. Fresh bread and its delicious! Good unique drinks also ranging from coffee to smoothies.
        • Quaint French bakery with an excellent food and amazing sauces! Definitely worth stopping by.
        • Had a great meal here with a friend. Very friendly service and the food was delish.
        • The atmosphere is great, both indoors and outdoors, the food is fantastic, both tasty, and aesthetically pleasing, and the service was amazing, as our waitress was very kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend, and hope to go again soon.
        • ALWAYS dirty...dining room, bathrooms, everywhere! ALWAYS smells like musty urine and dirty mop water throughout restaurant and bathroom has serious urine smells. Service is always subpar...either very slow, could care less about customer satisfaction and/or incompetent/need serious training. I've gone four times in the last year and it hasn't changed; so I'm no longer going there. To top it off, today a roach called in front of me onto my bag as I was eating!!! Potentially lovely menu, location and atmosphere, but needs serious help!
        • There's a lot of potential for this place but poor follow through. The service is the worst I've had in DC and food isn't any better. Two stars because I feel bad giving 1 star.
        • I like this location. Ireally disliked the one in Alexandria, VA for sanitary reasons. In Georgetown,I had breakfast which was nice and the baguette is delicious when just baked.
